Edwin came back around with the coffee and knocked on the window so I unlocked the car to let him in.
"I got you your white chocolate mocha iced with soy milk, and I got myself straight black coffee iced"
"That's fucking disgusting Edwin, how can you just drink straight up black coffee"
"I do because it's good"
"Whatever, thank you though"
"You're welcome".
We sat in the car a little listening to "imagine" by Ariana Grande. I see from the corner of my eye that he was getting an Uber. I'm kind of sad that this is over for today. It was kind of magical, kind of ugly but it's true.
"I think I'm gonna go soon"
"That's ok I appreciate the fact that you hung out with me for the last like four hours Ed"
"It's been four hours?"
"Time goes by fast when you have a good time"
"You say I'm gross? Did you just hear yourself"
"Shut up you're ruining the moment"
"Ha, you're right though. I had an amazing morning er well kind of night too with you. Haven't had this much fun in a while"
We stared into each other's eyes for a moment and he leaned in for a kiss. It was cute. His lips felt like pillows on mine. He pulled back and walked out the car, so I followed. I ran to hug him wrapping my arms around his neck and his arms around my waist.
"Bye Solana" he said while kissing me again.
"Bye Edwin".
We kept kissing for a little longer until he pulled back when he got a notification that his Uber was here. He hugged me tight and gave me a little wave as he walked away. I stood there watching him leave. When he was out of sight, I went back into the car and drove back home.
