"Steve! I can't start this damn car!" I yelled to the other side of the garage.
"I'm coming!" He yelled before coming over to me and taking a look at the car. "It looks like it could be fixed, but I need to figure out what needs to be fixed."
"Ok." Was all I said before heading out to the gas station part of the DX. "Hey, Soda." I said hi to Soda in a blank voice. I wasn't in the mood for anything today, I was kind of feeling guilty.
"Hey, Rose! You ok?"
"Yeah." I lied.
"No you're not, what's wrong?" He asked again.
"Nothing, Soda." I lied again.
"Would you stop lying to me?!" Soda asked.
"No!" I yelled before walking out of the DX.
"Rose!" Soda called after me but I kept walking, it of course was pouring but I didn't care. "ROSE!" Soda yelled again. I soon finally stopped and looked. "Why are you mad?" He asked.
"Because, Sodapop! I feel horrible! Dallas and Ponyboy got in a fight! You and Dallas were busy punching each other! Because of me! Dallas said something about me and Ponyboy got mad! You love me and Dallas got mad!" I yelled and soon heard what I said.
Sodapop walked up to me and now we were nose to nose. "You didn't do anything, Dallas hurt you and I couldn't bare that." He said before putting a soft hand on my cheek. "I love you, Rosey."
"I love you too, Pepsi-Cola." I said before we leaned in and kissed each other gently and passionately.
Steve's POV:
I heard Sodapop yell my sister's name so I ran out and saw Soda running after Rose.
I ran out after a while to see them kissing each other. I kind of smiled and chuckled. Oh, you think I'm the kind of guy who doesn't talk to his sister and his best friend because they kissed? It's fine, I always knew they had the hots for each other.
They pulled apart and Rose looked at me, immediately turning red and shoving her face in Sodapop's DX shirt.
"It's rainin'! You're gonna catch a cold! Get inside!" I yelled for them to come inside. They ran over inside and I grabbed them some towels and realized no one was gonna drive in this rain so I went to the back and closed up.
