It was getting late and our beloved characters were preparing the little ones for bed. Even though they had been in the city base for about 4 years, most of the little ones kept their childish ways to heart and refused going to bed still.

-It's not even fair! You usually let us play until 10 pm!- Thoma pouted to Gilda as Lannion approched him from behind. He jumped on his back and Thoma screamed in fear.

-We'll start training at 9 am, if you guys wake up earlier you'll have plenty of time to play around.- Gilda patted Thoma's head and he nodded.

From across the room Don was carrying a box while escolting Lannion to his bedroom. Don returned her stare and winked, it was mostly ready to begin.

Once the last few kids went to their rooms and turned their lights off, the elders sat in the dinning area. Norman and Anna were talking about new desserts they could recreate tommorrow while Don was telling Gilda about the book he had just found and was trying to convince her to check out.

-I already have too much on my plate Donnie, but thanks...- Gilda giggled nervously as Don kept insisting, shoving his book on her comfort zone still.

-I always give your books a try, why can't you do this for me? I know it doesn't have smut or romance but it's really good still. - Gilda's cheeks turned completely red and she hid them behind the palms of her hands.

-How could you say that?- questioned Gilda with a whisper as everyone in the room turned their heads to them.

Don soon tried to correct himself since he didn't mean to place her on an embarrising situation.

Norman chuckled from a far and soon realized Anna, who was still sixteen stood confused because she hadn't heard propperly. He convered her ears and glanced at Don so he would stop talking about those things.

- I mean, I love the smurfs too but there's so much more out there.--

-There's nothing to be embarrassed about Gilda, it's natural, we all enjoy those books too.- Ray stated whithout letting his eyes off of his book. Gilda still kept that redness on her face and soon left the room in a rush.

-Gilda, please... I'm sorry.- Don soon followed her footsteps.

-Why would she leave? Should I go after her? - said Emma to Norman, who had just let Anna's ears go.

-I think Don can save this one.- Norman smiled and Emma did as well. Ray sighed at Gilda's actions and left the dinning area without anyone noticing.

-Why would you do that?- Anna asked while rubbing her ears. Norman paused and Emma stared at him, hoping for a response.

-I thought the conversation was going on a too-mature theme, so I took precautions.

-Are you kidding me? You really think I don't know what smut is?!- Anna shouted and Norman rubbed the back if his head. Emma stood and watched, this time she was unfamiliar with a term causing her to zone out.
