Reunion. -Ch14

-Emma!- Gilda screamed and picked her up before she could even say a word. Her squeezing made Emma struggle to speak.

-I'm glad to see you too, G-Gilda...- Emma replied and smiled at the affection her family was gathering around to give her, even if Gilda was holding her a little too tight for her liking.

Ray took this time to take Emma's lougage back to her room, since now the corridors would be less crowded because everyone was fighting to give Emma some love.

"Even though they all payed her a visit, this is the first time they can hug her without feeling like they were hurting her.

Or maybe they were scared the stitches would break...

I was scared of that myself even knowing how unlikely it was...so yeah."

-Ray! You're back! - Gillian shout as she saw him approching Emma's room. He wasn't ready to have a conversation yet, specially with how tired he was, so he choose to ignore her completely until he reached his goal.

-We know you can hear us! It's important! - Nigel responded to his silence by taking Gillian as she blushed by her hand and running to his spot. Ray was almost opening the door at this point, so it was too late to escape.

-Yo.- Ray greated the two with a wave and stopped his mission in defeat.

"Emma couldn't sleep well last night, and as selfish as ever she made sure I struggled as much as her by moving in bed all night."

-Wow...You look really tired.- Nigel spoke pointing to his eyes and Gillian coughed in order to make him shut up about it.

-Really? I thought I looked well rested, my bad.- Ray replied with sarcasm and continued opening the door. Emma's bag was filled with dirty laundry and was weirdly heavy for his back.

"I still have to make another trip to bring the leftovers of the cake..." He thought as the idea abrummed his mind.

-We were organizing a party for Emma and-- We...- Nigel tried to speak but after messing things up earlier his tongue got stuck.

-We needed to get some alcohol for the drinks so we asked Don, he said Anna had one bottle a month ago so...-Gillian interrumpted Nigel and he stared at her in annoy, so she let him continue.

-We went to the infirmary, but it was locked so we thought she probably wasn't there to begin with. She wasn't and isn't in her room either, and no one saw her coming back last night.

-Why didn't you guys start with that?!- Ray said and placed his burden on the floor.- And why is no one looking for her?!

-Gilda said she was taking care of Emma yesterday so they assumed you three were together. So everyone let it be.- Gillian answered and stared at the floor. She was dearly hoping Anna would come as soon as they both did, but it wasn't the case. With everyone screaming to get Emma's attention, everyone was completely distracted about that fact that the blonde was gone.
