// Thanks again for all the support guys.
I'm having my doubts on how long I should make this story, but I'm probably half way there.//

Later that week, everyone was assigned a task. Their friends were leaving the base on Tuesday, in other words tomorrow, so every supply and backpack had to be ready by now.

Violet and Gilda were preparing the weapons, making sure the ammo was full in each weapon. Meanwhile, Anna and Ray were finishing the last few backpacks and clothing elements for the team.

-Is that all the bandages they are going to get?- Ray asked as Anna placed them inside a pocket. He was still worried about the nature of this mission and wasn't planning to hide it anytime soon.

-That should do in case something goes wrong.- Her experience taking care of others made her measurement of supplies sharp.

-Maybe you should give them some more... Just in case.- He said under his breath as he kept packing items.

-Ray, stop worrying okay. Emma will be fine, I wouldn't send her if it wasn't the case.

-You're right, but I can't get that feeling off my head...-He said as he placed his hand on his own cheek.

"You act so pathetic... That has to be love." She thought and played with some extra bandages.

-Then maybe you should go check on her now.- She spoke as she placed a few extra bandages inside another bag. He catched her placing them and grinned.

-I should...But later, I need to help you pack everything up.-He sighed as he folded a jacket so she could place it inside easier. Emma was helping Norman with the young ones at the moment. They had been training with Norman and Hayato the other day, but this new technique needed a lighter person to demostrate.

"I shouldn't bother them...but paying them a visit later won't hurt "

He continued his work and Anna sighed.

-I can handle it. Go for her, Romeo. -She said as a soft smile was presented on her lips. He was surprised and fully gratefull for her offering.

-Thanks again, Anna...- He sprinted off the infirmary and she chuckled.

"To be honest, this wasn't something anyone had even imagined before. Emma's loving nature and her sweet persona had nothing in common with Ray's distant and cold look... or so we all thought.

He isn't some emotionless guy after all...."

All she could do is let them enjoy whatever time they had left together before her trip. Her beloved elder figures found comfort in eachother's embraces in this cruel world, what more could she ask for?

-I'm glad they found something to love...

Ray rushed his way down the main stairs of the city as wind hold him back. The smile on his face could be seen from a mile away, he hadn't seen her that much since training had her free time reduced to almost none.

Adding the favors she had been doing for Norman, there wasn't that much time left for them to be alone.

Norman made his defending stand and Emma continued her attack. She kicked his knee making him kneel down.

"Weak spot."

She took this opportunity to give him a kick with her other leg, right on his cheek.
