I was going through a couple of old boxes in my room today. Things I had brought from the apartment when I moved in with my mom. This had been the box I was dreading the most to open. The one that I had remembered being in Logans arms as we moved in.
~Flashback~
There he was with that big goofy smile though he had this giant box in his arms. He grabbed the doorknob and twisted but to no avail.
L= Ace this door is outsmarting me.
I smirked at his frown and opened the door. Giving his shocked face a kiss I took the box and walked inside.
~Flashback~
It had been three months since I had declined his proposal. To say I missed him was an understatement. But, he was in some big beautiful city with a pretty blond in his penthouse. Somewhere in London, Logan laid his head on some overpriced pillowcases.
Trying to prepare for the worst, I opened the box. Inside sat a string of pearls Logan had bought me on my twenty first birthday and an expensive looking briefcase. Then I realized, It was the leather briefcase Logans sister had given to him as a graduation gift and one of his most prized possessions. So, in a rush, I went to the computer to do something I didn't want to.
Hopefully his email hadn't changed.
Dear Logan,
I was just going through boxes today and found that briefcase from your sister. I'm sorry its been a while, I have been too busy
(That was a complete lie)
to go through those boxes. Just send me your address and I'll get it to you.

I clicked send just as I heard the front door open.
Lo= Hey kid I have Java Chip and a dramatic reenactment of Kurt's bout of food poisoning.
I laughed and got up from the computer.
We spent the rest of the night watching the movie and eating ice cream and takeout Al's Pancake World.
