"Yeah I must look different since 8th grade ."I laughed

"No way Hope Davis ."Spencer said

I moved away from my place by Leila and walked up to Spencer to give him a hug

"You two know each other?"Jordan asked

"Yeah we grew up in the same neighborhood till I moved."I said letting go of the hug

"I think you and Asher play the same position." Jordan said

What's up, man? - Oh, receiver, huh? Yeah, broke the school record for receptions last season."Asher said

"Me, too."Spencer said.

"So how are you liking Beverly so far?"I know it probably feels like Lost footage or rich kids from Instagram, but it's not so bad once you give it a chance." Leila said.

" I'm sure it'll grow on me.Spencer said

"Hey, so lay it on me."Crips or Bloods?"Asher said

"Excuse me? " Spencer said.

"I'm dying to check out a Crip walk for real."I've only seen one on YouTube. Asher said.

"Are you serious Jordan."I said looking at him dumbfounded

"Hey wait were you going."Jordan said

"Going to check on a friend."I said walking away

"Sorry about the jackass there."I said.

"No worries thanks for standing up for me."Spencer said.

"Of course always."I said

"So how's your mom doing."Spencer said

"Shes doing better."I said

"How about your mom?I asked.

"She's good she misses you."Spencer said

"Me too but it's hard for my mom and I to go back."I sighed

"You know I miss your moms sushi."Spencer said to lighten up the mood

"I'll tell make some."I laughed

" how's your stepdad."Spencer asked

"He's alright."I shrugged

"Not feeling him."Spencer said

"Hes okay but I still miss my dad you know."I said

"Yeah."Spencer said

"Hey."Leila said taking a seat next to me

"That's my que to leave."I said getting up

"What why?" Leila asked

"I have to get to my locker forgot a couple books."I said

"See you at practice Spence."I said walking away from the table

As I was approaching my locker I saw Jordan leaning on it. I smiled softly and walked toward my locker.

"You know your blocking my locker."I laughed

"Sorry."Jordan said getting off my locker

"Thank you."I said

As I was grabbing my books from my locker Jordan was just standing their looking nervous.I closed my locker attaching my lock closing it shut. I turned to him with a what face.

"What's with that face."Jordan said

"You're nervous why?"I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

"I'm not nervous."Jordan lied

"Okay then I'm going to go Algebra 2 then."I said walking away

"Okay wait."Jordan said catching up to me

"Okay spill."I said

"Are you Spencer a thing."Jordan said

"Relax Jordan Spencer and I have been best friends since forever."I said

"So you don't like him?"Jordan asked

"I like him as a brother." You better calm down your jealousy is showing."I laughed

"You know I've liked you since Freshman year""Jordan said

"I know but you haven't proven anything to me yet."I said

"Proven what?"Jordan asked

"Your character." I said walking away

"You still coming to watch practice."Jordan yelled

"Don't I always."I yelled back heading to Algebra
