Savrasha and Scourge returned to the ship after the meeting with the Council.
"I did not expect you to speak for me so readily, Jedi. It was unexpected." Scourge told her on the way back.
"There is need of you, Scourge. Considering that and the way you helped us escape, a cell is not where you're needed."
"At least you have a practical mind, unlike others of your order I met."
"Thanks....I think."
"You are welcome."
Once they were back to the ship, they were greeted by the rest of the crew.
"So how did they take it?" Kira asked.
"Pretty much as I thought." Savrasha answered "As for Belsavis, it's apparently a planet-prison kept secret by the Republic. It houses the worst war criminals and murderers in the galaxy, including several Sith Lords."
"How secret is "secret"?" Doc asked.
"So much that not even the entire Senate knows about it. Authorization to land there is restricted, but Master Satele says she can obtain our authorizations."
"Shall I set the course, Master Jedi?" Sergeant Rusk asked.
"Yes, as soon as possible." Savrasha replied.
The Chagrian then proceeded to the cockpit.
Savrasha and Scourge made to leave the room, but Savrasha was interrupted by Kira: "Sav, if you have a moment, there's something I'd like to talk about."
"Alright." Savrasha replied.
Afterwards, everyone on the ship went to their respective quarters, except for Kira who went into Savrasha's.
"So, what is it?" Savrasha asked.
"How are you holding up with all of this?"
"It's unsettling, truth to be told. Being told that I have been chosen to strike down a Sith that hungers for the galaxy's destruction...why me? I'm not even the best Jedi in the order."
"I think we could argue on that." Kira teased.
"You wanted privacy just to tease?"
"Well, not entirely." Kira said "What do you remember from when you were under the Emperor's control?"
"Nothing. Why?"
"The Emperor came to me during our imprisonment." Kira explained while Savrasha's face darkened "He told me that he had also foreseen you would rise against him. That is why he sent that Sith Lord after you."
"So he also thinks I'm a threat to him."
"He knows you're a threat. And he also said he wanted to control you because you are powerful."
"Well, if that's so, now that I broke free from his control I don't think he believes me worth the trouble anymore, so he'll just want me dead. Not a big problem anymore."
"Yeah, but there's more." Kira interrupted "The Emperor also told me he had managed to take over your mind because he was aided by "regrets about things you never told us". What was he talking about?"
Savrasha took a deep breath before answering: "Remember on Alderaan when I ventured into the wilderness?"
"Yeah. You told me you didn't want to talk about it. And...?"
"I told you about my family. Did I ever tell you about my brother?"
In the following minutes, Savrasha told Kira about her relation with Tarutio and the way it had developed in the recent months, from their meeting on Alderaan to the message she sent him.
"Well, that's not a good story." Kira commented at the end.
"I had always wanted to tell you about it, but there were always other things going on." Savrasha replied.
"Well, this is also...oh, dear." Kira babbled.
"What?"
"T7 has looked to the holonet and...well..."
"What? Did something happen to him?"
"Not exactly. After Master Jun Seros, of the order, reported several crimes of his to the Chancellor, he has been placed on top of the Republic's most wanted list. With a ten million credit bounty on his head."
Utter desperation appeared on Savrasha's face: "How is this possible? What did he do?"
"Several crimes of terrorism against the Republic that, combined together, have basically made him public enemy number one."
"But that doesn't make sense! How can he have turned to this?"
"I don't know. Though, there could be more going on than it seems."
"What do you mean?"
"It seems, some of his supposed crimes that Seros reported lacked a strong evidence. It could be he knows something others don't or..."
"...or he framed Tarutio and is after him."
"Exactly."
Savrasha sighed deeply and took her hands to her hips.
"How do you want to handle this?" Kira asked her.
"We have nothing to deny Seros' claims. For now, we must focus on the Emperor, but afterwards I will confront Seros on this."
