(( Luke's POV ))
"Shhhh..." I held Clementine in my arms as she cried, "It's alright. He didn't touch you."
Clem sniffled, "He a-almost did." She broke out into more tears. I put my hands on her face and looked her in the eyes.
"I'll alway gonna protect you Clem, don't you forget that." I kissed her on the forehead.
She wiped away some of her tears and smiled, "Thank you Luke." She hugged me, I hugged her back. Once that was done, I held her hand and lead her to the gate. There didn't seem to be any sign of the gun-men, so we broke out of thete easily.
Once we were in the parking lot, Clem stopped. "Oh my god. Rose, Cathy..." She remembered.
"Their gone, Rick shot them. Apparently, he knew about ya'lls plan." I sighed.
Clem started walking again, but very slowly, "This was all my fault. We should have just stayed quiet at listen to Rick's orders. Then Rose and Cathy would still be alive."
I wrapped my arms around Clementine's waist, "Now that right there is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard you say. Would you really rather be in that drug dealing group or be free to go find Junior and Kenny?"
She thought for a minute, "But, I got them killed."
"You didn't, Rick did. They're in a better place any way, with Lee, and Nick, everyone else we knew." I smile at her.
"You believe in heaven Luke?" Clem asked me.
I bit my lip, "I sometimes do."
"Sometimes?"
"Yeah..." I hesitated, "I just like to believe that there's a better place than here."
Clem smiled at me and wrapped her arms around my neck, "I hope so."
