Chapter 15

** Melissa's POV **

I glare at Anthony and throw my head back. "Fuck what could I've possibly have done"

"Okay so you're not In trouble so don't worry" Mr.white mentions taking off his glasses. He folds his arms and stares back from me to Anthony.

Anthony has been pretty quiet for a boy like him. I get uneasy and speak up.

"So are you gonna tell me why I'm here instead of going home" I pressure him to answer

Mr.White takes a deep breath, "well you see Melissa, Anthony here told me something that might be quite exciting" he taps his fingers on the desk. "The prom June 23" he gets up and checks his window. "You see Anthony needs extra credit to pass EP and the only way is if he gets a girl to go with him" he whips around and stares at me "so whatcha think about that" then he settles down and kicks his feet on his desk waiting for the answer.

"Is this some kind of joke" I ask

"Ughhhh you see. I knew she wouldn't do this. Mr.White I need this. Can't you choose someone else that's not her. I already have her as a history partner" Anthony nearly yells

"Bonding time" Mr.White says not moving a muscle. "Melissa your going with Anthony wether you like it or not" he pulls something out and shows it to me,"your grades aren't looking to good either" he chuckles and puts the clipboard back into his drawer. "Okay off you two love birds go out" he says kicking us out leaving us outside the hallway with only the school bell to the fill the silence.

** Anthony's POV **

I look at Melissa in anger and make my way out the school building.

"Wait hold up" I hear Mel running to catch up. "Don't we have to plan for prom?" She asks.

I turn around take out the pen from my pocket and grab her hand. I scribble down my phone number and basically any other way this girl can contact me. Then I continue making my way outside to Jackson who's patiently waiting for me.
