"Melissa,do you think I'm a failure?" I say staring out the window while picking on the lint of my sweater.
"No,no, of course not. You know just because Jack left you it doesn't mean it's your fault. You obviously deserve someone so much better. Someone who respects and loves you and is ALWAYS there for you for once."
"Yeah I guess"
"Ughhhh come on let's go and get out of this room it's depressing watching you mope around all day." Mel says dragging me off my bed.
I rolled out into the floor and knock Melissa down with me.
"Hey, how bout instead of using me as a bowling pin, we go out and bowl with NASH?" Melissa says trying to hype me up with that devious smile of hers.
"I don't know I'm not sure that's a good idea people will see me." I argue back
"Oh big whoop." Mel says rolling her eyes. "Come on fatty get your ass up, I'll even buy you frozen yogurt afterwards" Mel drags me up from the floor and out the door we go. "BYE MISS QUINTAL!!" She yells up the stairs before we leave.
