**At the office**
"What's wrong? What happened to you!!?" my mother frustratedly asked me.
"Nothing" I bitterly said wiping the tears away. "Nothing happened, I'm just really nervous and I miss it in New York" I struggle to fake a smile. I didn't want my mother to worry about me.
"Umm, may I help you?" The secretary asked.
"Yes,my daughter Melissa Johnson, she's new here and I--" the secretary cuts her off and hands her a bunch of papers plus my schedule.
"Bye mom I can take it from here, please go" I say heading to 1st period. "History,twice" I whisper as entering the classroom.
"You're late miss--" the teacher looks up. " I don't think I seem to know you, hello, I'm Mr.White" he introduces himself with his hand extended out.
I tense up."I'm Melissa Johnson" I say barley a whisper.
"Take a seat" he offers.
I manage to look up and I see the boy that I bumped into the hallway earlier. I tense up even more cause the only empty seat is near him.
