VRENE - Dangerous

Vacation Part. 2

Irene came back to the room.

"Umma where were you? Where did you go?" asked Joohyung.

"I walked around to see what we could do while we are here," said Irene.

"Umma I want to go swimming can we go?" asked Joohyung.

"Sure. Let's go change into our bathing suits and then we'll go," said Irene.

"Okay I'll go get ready!" said Joohyung. He was excited to go do something with his mom after years of just waiting for her to finish her surgeries. 

Irene and Joohyung went out to swim in the pool. They played for a while and were enjoying themselves until they got tired. Joohyung and Irene returned to their hotel room. As they were washing up Irene got a call. It was from the hospital.

"Hello?" said Irene.

"Doctor Bae we need you. There's been a huge accident and we need all the doctors we can get. I'm so sorry to ruin you vacation but we need you urgently," said a nurse.

"Okay. I'll be there soon. Please give me sometime because it's going to take me a while to get there," said Irene.

As soon as she ended the phone call she felt really sorry. She knew that Joohyung would be very upset and there was no way that she could make it up to him.

"Joohyung. I'm so sorry but we have to go. There was an accident and they asked me to go help them," said Irene.

"Umma you promised me that we could do whatever we want for the next few days. Is work more important than me? I want to just have a day where I don't have to see you leave for surgery," said Joohyung who was starting to cry. He was really disappointed.

"I know I'm sorry. I'll try to make it up to you," said Irene. She knew that she really needed to make it up to him somehow. 

"Umma I'm not going to leave. Joohyung will stay right here and play by himself then. I refuse to go to the hospital with you," said Joohyung.

"No we have to go Joohyung. Umma has to go work. Please understand after I work I promise you we'll come back here and play again. Okay?" said Irene.

"Okay..." said Joohyung. He started to pack and got in the car.

Irene started to drive back to the hospital. As soon as they arrived Joohyung went to the office while Irene started to work. After hours and hours of surgeries and working Irene went to Joohyung. She was tired and just wanted to sleep. She took Joohyung home and as soon as they arrived Joohyung fell asleep. Irene lied down on her bed. She just thought about Taehyung. She missed him already and wanted to call him. She just thought about their past.
