VRENE - Dangerous

Going Home

After a few weeks of Joohyung being at the hospital, they finally got to go home. While Joohyung was in the hospital, Irene decided to work at the hospital and catch up on some work. Taehyung also decided to work for a couple of hours everyday at his office. After working he would immediately go to the hospital to check on his wife and son. 

"Umma do I get to go home today?" asked Joohyung. He was feeling a lot better from a few days ago.

"Yes you do I will take you home and on the way maybe we can get some ice cream," said Irene. 

"What about appa? Will appa come home with us?" asked Joohyung.

"Appa has to work today but he will be home before dinner," said Irene.

Suddenly Irene's phone started to ring.

"Hello?" answered Irene.

"Doctor Kim! There was a major accident and there are eleven patients on their way! Is there any way you can help we need as much surgeons as we can get today?" said the nurse that was calling Irene.

"Ummmm... Yes I can I will be down in a few minutes," said Irene.

"Thank you so much please hurry," said the nurse as she quickly hung up.

Irene then turned to her son.

"Joohyung, umma is sorry but people need umma to save their lives. Can you stay in day care today and I will pick you up when I finish saving their lives," said Irene.

"That's okay umma. I will go to day care and play with my friends there," said Joohyung.

"Thank you so much Joohyung umma will make it up to you," said Irene. She took Joohyung to the day care and then went to the emergency room to help out the injured.

After hours of helping people and surgeries, Irene finished her last surgery of the day. She was tired and wanted to just take a nap but she had to go home with Joohyung. Her phone started to ring and it was Taehyung calling her.

"Hello?" said Irene.

"Irene! Where are you and where's Joohyung?" said Taehyung worriedly.

"Sorry I forgot to tell you that I got held back at the hospital. There was a major accident and I had to do some surgeries. Joohyung is in day care," said Irene.

"Ohhh okay. I was so worried that something happened to you guys. Are you going to come home now?" asked Taehyung.

"Yes I will take Joohyung and go home right now. I'm so tired from all the surgeries," said Irene.

"Do you want me to pick you up? I can take you guys home," said Taehyung.

"Can you? I think I might fall asleep if I drive," said Irene.

"Sure I will be there in thirty minutes. I will meet you at the lobby," said Taehyung.

"Okay see you soon," said Irene as she ended the call and started to walk towards the day care.

Irene wondered why she was so tired. Usually a day filled with surgeries would not make her so tired but she was extremely tired and on the verge of just sleeping on the floor. She felt sick and was dizzy as well.

"It can't be," said Irene. She looked at the calendar and checked the date. "I'm late," said Irene.

She was scared. She didn't want this to happen this moment when she was busy making sure that her family was not going to die. She knew that if she was pregnant this would just be worse for her and Joohyung. She went to the storage closet and decided to get a pregnancy test and went to the bathroom. She took it and after waiting a few minutes the results came out. Positive. She was shocked. She thought to herself if I tell Tae or Joohyung, the enemy might use it against me. She might endanger everyone's life. I can't let this happen. She patted her stomach and said, "I'm sorry baby but umma needs to keep you a secret for now. Your appa will be very protective and might not let me do anything. I will take care of you but later on I promise I will tell your appa about you."

Irene picked up Joohyung from day care and met Taehyung at the lobby. They went straight home. To their new home where hopefully no one would know that they were living there.
