A/N: I originally had this as two separate chapters, but I felt they were pretty short so I put them together.
* * * * * *
“What’s taking you boys so long?” Toad complained as he effortlessly jumped from ledge to ledge on the mountain. Leprii was right behind him, using the training she learned to climb up the mountain.
She looked down and saw Blob a little ways down the mountain. He was using his super strength to punch holes in the mountain for hand and foot holds. She also saw Pietro and Lance holding on to ropes that were connected to Blob’s shoulders.
When Leprii and Toad reached a flat part of the mountain, Toad went to explore an abandoned mineshaft.
She turned around and saw Blob coming up, followed by Lance and Pietro. When they all joined her, Lance questioned, “An abandoned mine?”
“Toad’s checking it out for a shortcut,” Leprii explained.
Toad popped his head out from the signs. “Hey, there’s a tunnel in there that’s like a stairway to the top,” he said.
“Now you’re talking!” Lance exclaimed as they all filed into the mine. “That flag is ours!”
They all followed him to an opening with a ladder attached to the wall. They all looked up to the opening.
“You bone-head!” Lance shouted as he grabbed Todd by the shirt. “We can’t get through there! We probably lost ‘cause of you!”
“I-I kinda figured you could, you know, avalanche it loose a little bit,” he whimpered.
“He’s right!” Pietro agreed. “Get some more juice Lance, and you’ll unclog it.”
“Alright. Stand back.”
Leprii knew that it was a bad idea, but she couldn’t say anything as the shaft began to shake and rocks started to fall from the ceiling.
“Look out!” Blob shouted. “It’s coming down!” More and more rocks fell and soon they were stuck in the cave.
“Over here!” Leprii heard someone shout. “It’s them!” She looked up and saw Rouge pointing down at them.
“We’re caved in!” Leprii shouted to them. The other teens moved back away from the opening.
“Oh, come on man. Don’t leave us down here. Not for some stupid flag!” Toad shouted up.
“We won’t!” Scott shouted back. They threw down a rope and soon Scott came down. “Hang on to my back, I’ll help you up,” he said as he grabbed Leprii’s arm.
She pulled away. “Forget it. I’ll pull myself up.” She walked to the rope and began to climb up, much to the other X-Men’s shock. “What?”
“Sorry, I didn’t think you could-” started Jean.
“What? That I couldn’t climb a rope?” Leprii accused.
The other boys came up out of the shaft. She watched as Pietro went to run and grab the flag, and as Kurt disappeared after him. Suddenly a plane appeared.
“X-Men! Professor X is in danger, and so is Mystique,” an unknown voice echoed to the mutants.
“Up to it?” Scott asked Lance.
“Let’s go!” he replied. They all quickly snapped a picture of both groups and piled into the plane. As the passed over Sgt. Hawke, they dropped the flag, and the picture to him.

During the plane ride, both groups were briefed on how Mystique let a powerful mutant out of prison, and how he turned on her. She also learned the X-Men’s powers. Kitty could become intangible. Kurt could teleport. Jean had both telekinesis and telepathy. Scott could shoot an optic beam from his eyes, which explained why he always wore sunglasses. Rouge could absorb mutant powers and anyone’s memories. Evan could produce spikes from his body.
They landed at what Leprii guessed was the X-Mansion, from what she overheard during the plane ride. They all rushed to the basement of the mansion. As the doors opened, she saw Mystique standing next to a man in a wheelchair, whom she suspected to be the Professor. They were both cowering from the gigantic man in front of them.
“Take a break, Wolverine! We’ll take it from here!” Scott shouted to another man laying on the floor as both groups started to attack the huge man.
Jean kneeled down the floor and used her telekinesis to levitate the man, so he wouldn’t get to the two. She struggled against his weight and dropped him to the floor.
“Cain’s helmet,” the man on the ground growled. “Remove it.”
Blob charged into the giant as he advanced on Jean. “Unstoppable, meet the Unmovable,” he said as Cain stumbled from the blow. Kurt teleported onto his shoulders and undid one of the claps on the helmet. Cain grabbed Kurt and threw him to the floor. He rammed into Blob, knocking him to the floor.
Leprii focused on the multiple machines that were in the room and used them to attack the giant. As he was preoccupied with the machines, Lance brought him to his knees while Pietro unclasped another part of the helmet. Cain stood up and knocked Pietro off. Leprii continued to manipulate the training machines, forcing him back to his knees. She watched as Kitty and Rouge came through the wall and unclasped the last part. Toad used his excessively long tongue to pry the helmet off of Cain’s head. Leprii watched as the Professor started to use psychic blasts to knock Cain unconscious.
Both groups cheered and gathered around Mystique and the Professor.
“Now there’s something you won’t see everyday,” Leprii heard Mystique say to the Professor.
“I agree, that’s a shame,” he replied.
“Come on, kids. Let’s get out of here before you’re invited to a slumber party,” Mystique jeered as there group started to make their way out of the room.
“Hey Summers,” Lance started. “As a group leader, you’re only half bad,” he teased.
Leprii ignored the rest of the conversation between the two boys. As they all walked out of the mansion, her memories of the mansions interior were becoming hazy in her mind. She started to rub her temples to relieve to headache that was forming.
“The Professor doesn’t want us remembering the inside of his school,” Mystique said as she noticed Leprii. She dropped her hand from her head and followed the rest of the boys.

A/N: Okay kids, sorry the action in this chapter was really bad. I wrote this a year ago and I'm too lazy to rewrite it, and I have other stuff I'm working on😂
Speaking of which, I'm currently working on my Young Justice fanfic, and I'm not even finished with the first two chapters and I have 9 pages on a Google doc.😂😂😂😂
