Caitlin looked at Grindelwald, "I prefer to stand, thank you though." She said glaring daggers at him. He moved over to his chair at his desk. "Very well." He said, "I want you to join me, Miss. Breanna." Grindelwald continued, "You are needed for my cause." He finished and she gave him a confused look. "I don't believe you. I know that you're manipulative and you can use your words to get what you want." Caitlin said shaking her head in disbelief.

Grindelwald chuckled and opened a drawer, pulling a file out and raising it up to her. "Here. I'll have Vinda take you back to your room. Think about it." He said and the door behind her opened, she cautiously grabbed the file from his hand and left the room, following the lady back to the room she woke up in. "Why do you follow him?" Caitlin asked generally curious and Vinda chuckled. "I've seen his vision, he's doing what he does for a great cause. For the greater good, Miss. Breanna." She said stopping at a door and opening it. "Lunch will be served in an hour." She said as Caitlin walked back into 'her' room. "I just want to go home." She said feeling homesick and started to shake slightly. Vinda gave her a sympathetic smile, "I know you do. But read the file. You'll change your mind after." She said before shutting the door.

Caitlin looked down at the file in her hands and moved to a desk at the far end of the room that sat near balcony doors. She paused when she seen the breathtaking view of icy mountains and a cloudless sky. Caitlin shook her head and sat at the desk and opened the Manila folder. It was her birth records, and family history. Why and how did Grindelwald have these? She knew who her family was so why was this important? She continued reading the papers and jumped back after reading over a paragraph. "This is wrong. I-it has to be." She said softly, "My dear, it isn't." Grindelwald's voice filled her ears causing her to jump again and look over at him, he was leaning against the door frame. "You're lying." She said as tears welled up in her eyes, staring at him.

Percival was searching everywhere in New York for Caitlin. He had sent aurours throughout America and he was planning to go with a group in Europe. He had to find her. Once he found her he was gonna search for Grindelwald and personally kill him. "Mr. Graves! We got something from an owl that's not familiar!" An aurour said running over to him and handing him an envelope. Percival wasted no time to open the letter and he began reading.

My Dear Percival,

I'm safe. I've found out some secrets to my family I did not know until Grindelwald showed me. I know I shouldn't believe him but I can't help but to. My parents arranged a marriage for me and him once we were of age. It's a terrible thing. I'll write back once I get your reply. Please reply. I miss you so much.

I hope to see you soon.
Caitlin.

Percival slumped in his chair, rereading the letter. He couldn't believe it. Was this really her who wrote and sent this letter? Or was it Grindelwald? He stared at the letter for a bit longer before deciding to send a letter back.

——

Grindelwald explained more in depth of Caitlin's family history and how she was born into a family of wealth and importance. She was an important 'object' to Grindelwald's cause. If she didn't join him willingly, he would have to force her to. He was going to do all he could to convince her, and he was really good at convincing. "Miss. Breanna, you know your place in the family tree. You know you should be by my side for the greater good. Your parents arranged your life for you." He said as she sat at the desk staring into nothing. "My parents arranged a marriage between me and you, before my dad disappeared." She said, her voice cracking. Her mother never told her, she guessed that if her mother forgot about it and lived life normally, she wouldn't see her daughter be forced in a marriage she was unhappy with. "That's right. Your fathers family and my family were really close. Your parents and my parents figured putting us two together would be a great way for our families to get closer." He said watching her closely. He's seen his visions, he knew she was going to give in but he wasn't sure when. "Well, I'm sorry, Grindelwald. I can't get married to you." She said coldly. "And why is that? Is it because of that dreaded American?" He asked not trying to let his annoyance show. She glared at him, "Don't talk about Percival like that." She said, venom seeping from her mouth. "Miss. Breanna, you need to forget about him. You need to see where you are supposed to be." Caitlin leaned back when Grindelwald moved closer to her, she kept her glare on. "Can I at least write to him? To let him know that I'm actually alive and not dead somewhere?" She asked, ignoring his words. He sighed and took a few steps back. "Of course. You have two days to make your decision." He said, and owl came in and landed on the desk in front of Caitlin. He left the room, the door shutting behind him.
Caitlin let out a sigh and began writing a letter to Percival....

——

A couple of hours after sending the owl off, the door opened and Vinda came in with an older witch. "prendre ses mesures s'il vous plaît." Vinda said in French and Caitlin gave her a confused look. "We are taking your measurements for clothes. We are not going to make you wear the same dress everyday." Vinda said noticing Caitlin's look, "Debout s'il vous plait." The older lady said in French and Vinda smiled, "She wants you to stand up." She translated. "Oh." Caitlin stood and the lady began taking her measurements. "So, how are you feeling about Grindelwald being your husband?" She asked sitting in a chair close by. "He isn't my husband. It was an arranged marriage. Something I'm not doing." She replied bluntly. "Sorry if I sound rude. It's been a tough day." She said sighing softly and Vinda understood. "I understand. Just give it a few days and you'll realize what you're missing. What you're destined for." She said nodding when the older witch finished and left. "I don't think I could fall for a man like Grindelwald. I already fell in love." Caitlin replies as she walked over to one of the big windows, looking over the moonlit mountains. "What does it feel like? Falling in love?" Vinda asked standing from the chair and walking over. "Oh, it's wonderful. You don't realize you're falling until the first kiss or first "I Love you". Why do you ask?" The other lady asked looking over at Vinda. "Just wondering. Have a good night, Miss. Breanna." She said and left the room.

Caitlin stood for a bit longer, looking over the mountains. A tear left her eye and she wiped it away quickly. She wasn't going to show a sign of weakness. She was going to stay strong and wait for a letter from Percival.
