The next day, Caitlin met up with the girls and instantly, Queenie and the biggest grin on her face. "Go ahead." Caitlin waved at her. Tina gave them a confused look. "They kissed." She said cheerfully, Tina's smile matched her sisters. "Thats wonderful!" She said and soon they began eating. "Would you like to come over this weekend? We want to know all about what happened!" Queenie invited and Caitlin smiled. "Yes!"

After lunch, she stopped by Percivals office to say hi and drop off some coffee. "Hello, Caitlin. How was lunch?" He asked, "Wonderful. Did you eat?" She asked realizing she didnt see him during lunch. "No, got caught up with paperwork. Almost done." He said, and noticed the frown on her face. "I'll eat right after I finish this." He assured her and the frown disappeared. "Okay." Caitlin said, a smile filling her face, "I'll see you after work." She said waving at him and leaving his office.

He smiled to himself after she left. "Wow, you guys are in love but you don't see it." Grindelwald said and Percival rolled his eyes, going back to work.

"Hi." Caitlin greeted Percival as he locked his office door. "Hey, How was work?" He asked, and they began to walk down the hallway. "It was work. Did you eat lunch?" She asked and he nodded, "That's good. Dinner at my place. Coffee this time, not wine." They chuckled and walked out into the cold air.

——-

Caitlin and Percival walked into her warm apartment, taking their coats off and went to the kitchen. She started the coffee and began to cook. Percival watched her, then started helping. They shared a smile and continued cooking in silence.

After cooking, they sat at the table eating, talking about what their childhood. "My mom did everything she could to keep me and my sister safe from any harm. From non-magic people to our own family." Caitlin explained, "Where is your dad?" Percival asked, "I don't know. He left my mom when she became pregnant with me. I don't care about him." She shrugged and sipped her coffee. "What about your sister?" He asked, "Somewhere in Europe. She got married a year or two ago and is so in love with him to make sure I'm okay." She shrugged again, "I'll send her an owl every once in a while and she'll reply but I let her do whatever. Im fine." Percival gave her a sympathetic smile and sipped his drink.

-----

After a couple more hours, Percival was dressed in his coat with a warm cup of coffee in his hand. "Well, dinner was great like always. Thanks for the coffee.'' Caitlin gave him a warm smile that made his insides melt. They stared into each others eyes, "uh, Caitlin, I want to thank you for what you've done. I dont think I would be able to trust anyone if you didnt bring coffee or said hi. So thank you." He said and Caitlins smile grew more. "No problem. I did it because you needed someone, a friend. Im happy thats you're happy." She replied. "Also, I'd like to know, would you like to go out with me?" He asked scratching the back of his head.

"Id be honored."

Thanksgiving was a few days away, Caitlin was excited. Queenie knew about them going out and told Caitlin that she would help her get ready for the date.

Caitlin arrived at Percivals office, it opening right before she knocked. They smiled at each other, "Good morning, Caitlin. Sleep well?" He asked giving her a hug. "I did. Did you sleep well?" She asked looking up at him. He nodded, "Don't forget, Friday is Thanksgiving. And we are going to Queenie and Tinas." She smiled when they pulled away. "Alright. Should I bring anything?" He asked, "Just yourself. Im bringing some apple pie." She said and looked at the clock on the wall. "Alright Ive got to go. Ill see you later." She said kissing his cheek and leaving the room. He couldnt help the smile that grew on his face.

-----

As the hours went on, Percival was buried under papers. Caitlin's shift ended and she knocked on his door. "Percival? Are you busy?" She asked as the door opened, he was sitting at his desk completely focused on the paperwork in front of him. His sleeves were rolled up half way and his hair was crazy from running his fingers through it. "Percival?" She asked quietly and he glanced up, setting his pen down. "Hey. Im going to be working a bit late tonight. I should've told you but I got busy." He said and she nodded, "Its alright. I can wait if you want." She said sitting on the chair in front of his desk. "Im not going to keep you up. I dont know how much longer Ill be. I can walk you out." He said standing from his desk and walking around, giving her a tired smile. "Oh okay." She said standing and returning the smile.

They walked down the hallway and towards the front door. "Ill see you in the morning." She said looking up at him, Percival couldnt help but smile. He kissed her forehead and she blushed. "Goodnight, Caitlin." He said, "Goodnight, Percival."

Caitlin walked down the sidewalk but felt like she was being watched. She paused and looked up and down the dimly lit sidewalk. Not seeing anything or anyone, she shrugged and continued down to her apartment.

---

Caitlin walked into the front door, taking her coat and work things away. She turned the light on and jumped, pulling her wand out. Pointing it at the intruder. He only chuckled. "You and I both know you're not going to attack me." He spoke and stood from the chair, she kept her stance. "How did you escape?" She asked ignoring his comment. He only rolled his eyes and took a step closer. "Im only here to talk to you. For you to join me. Or lose who you love more than anything." She glared at him. "If you go near-" He cut her off, "Or what Miss. Breanna? What will you do?" She stayed quiet.

"Think about it." He said and apparated away.
