I woke up the next morning
"Get ready and put on a smile" I thought to myself
One of the things that made me feel confident about myself was my hair, I don't really know why, but I liked it.
it's naturally straight, dark brown, and very long.
I put on some jean shorts, a tie dye shirt and my white converse on.
I had nothing else to do so I decided to go to the mall. I don't have my license yet so I have to walk, it's only a couple blocks away.
I started walking, it'd been about 15 minutes.
I could see Sam's house, I was close to it.
While I was walking past his house, I saw a girl walk out, him walking with her. He kissed her.
I couldn't stand seeing him with another girl.
She got in her car and left.
Sam looked over and my direction and say me, I just kept walking.
"Hey Amanda" he said
I ignored him.
"Amanda I know you can hear me" he shouted as he ran up to me.
he stopped right in front of me.
"What's wrong? I was calling your name"
"nothing Sam, I just didn't hear you"
I knew he could tell something was wrong, but he didn't say anything.
"I have to go Sam"
"Where are you going?"
"To the mall" I said
"Mind of I come?" he asked
"Um why?"
"Amanda, please don't make things awkward between us" he said
"Sorry, I'm not meaning to"
"I know, it's alright" he said
"Yea you can come" I said
We both walked started walking, no one talked for awhile.
"So Amanda, are you seeing anyone?" he asked
why would he ask that? should I lie?
without thinking I replied
"Yea, actually I am"
I can't believe I just said that
"Oh cool" he replied
"Hey we should go on a double date!" be said
"Hm, my ex and me, going on a date, with other people. sounds kind of strange to me" I said.
it was a little odd, plus, I'm not even seeing anyone.
"Maybe it'll get us to move on.." he said
"Move on?"
"For now at least" he replied
Honestly, none of this made any sense. we get into a fight, breakup, make up, take a break, and now he wants us to move on?
