The next day was a long one. Abby sat in the back of her class alone per usual, taking few notes and instead sketching random drawings of Yoongi. She frequently drew his nimble hands as they danced across the keys of his old piano, but today she found herself drawing his adorable pout instead.
After a few more hours of class, Abby walked to the library, exactly where she first met Jackson. She ran her fingers through her hair and proceeded to bite her fingernails anxiously. Yoongi would always pull her hand from her mouth and rest it on her lap when he caught her doing it, but he wasn't there. Abby wiped her hands on her jeans then replaced her nails with her bottom lip as she took it in between her teeth and chewed at the skin.
"Hey," Jackson said as he approached the nervous girl.
"Hey," Abby replied.
"I know you don't really know me, but I am not someone you could consider boring," he began.
"And I would never consider you boring," Abby smiled.
"Good. Well since I'm not boring, I just had to make sure this date wasn't boring."
"Oh god, what are you planning Wang?" Abby said as she glared at the man.
"How do you feel about journeying into a Winter Wonderland with me?"
"I already agreed to go on a date with you yesterday."
"True. I just love how smart you are Abby!" Jackson exclaimed.
"Oh my god Jackson shut up."
"Ok, ok." Jackson surrendered before holding his arm out for Abby to latch on to. "Follow me m'lady, the perfect date awaits."
Abby laughed as she locked arms with the smiling man. "Well then LET'S GET IT!''
...
Abby and Jackson walked arm in arm towards the rink. They were bundled up in comfy layers and looked completely at peace as the snow fell upon the white ground they walked on. They relished in the silence of the world, only the sound of the snow under their feet being heard.
As soon as Jackson stepped both feet on the ice, he began to wildly flail his arms as he attempted to regain his balance and not fall flat on his face. Abby watched in amusement as the man finally gave up and took a hard fall to the ground.
"You don't even know how to skate, yet you decided to take me ice skating?" She inquired.
"Yes. I just wanted to try something new with you. Definitely not one of my best ideas," he admitted.
"Ya think?" She giggled.
"It's not like you can do any better!" Jackson yelled.
"I actually can't, but you looked like a drowning duck, It shouldn't be hard to top that."
"But ducks can swim," Jackson stated.
"Exactly."
Abby hesitantly shuffled onto the ice and as soon as she felt herself start to slip, she lunged at Jackson to avoid falling on her face. It proved to not be the most intelligent decision, seeing as Jackson was also not capable of staying upright. They both plummeted to the ground, Abby on top of Jackson, both falling into a fit of giggles.
"At least I didn't fall on my ass," Abby stated before childishly sticking her tongue out at the latter.
"Yeah you fell on mine instead fool."
