The world was quiet.

Okay so I've wrote this chapter in a slightly different style. Sorta like the chapter where Katherine returns to London. But my main suggestion to this chapter is when you're reading it.

Imagine it.

In slow motion.

With no sound but the odd sentence.

Hence the song choice.

Which works perfectly with this chapter.

That is what I did.

See?

I felt my heart skip miles.

Ace and the other Cobras instantly stepped forward into the aisle.

The world went quiet as it felt like I was just watching from above in some kind of slow mo.

I felt Eyeball yank me backwards as he slung himself in front of me.

He reached into his back pocket and pulled his switchblade.

The Cobra's followed his lead, revealing their own.

Our guests quickly moved as close to the edge of the church they could get.

I turned and saw the vicar give me a panicked look on his face.

My face reflected mine as he reached out his hand to me.

I reached out and gripped it tight as he began pulling me away.

Towards the back of the church.

Through a brown door.

I turned and caught one last look at Eyeball.

He was staring at me. Pleading. Begging.

His face showed nothing but desperation as he nodded before turning back and standing in between Ace and Charlie.

I caught my dad's eyes.

He was holding himself in front of Jack.

He yelled at me to 'run' but I couldn't hear a word.

The world was quiet.

The world was slow.

I turned back to the vicar as he pulled us through the door, slamming it shut behind us.

He slid a bolt across and faced me.

Fear and panic was the only thing I saw in his eyes.

He grabbed my shoulders as he attempted to tell me directions to get away.

But I couldn't understand them.

The world was quiet.

He gently turned me and shoved me along a corridor.

I started walking as he pressed himself against the door he'd just bolted.

I turned and looked down at my options.

Then I ran.

I ran through many doorways.

I pushed chairs over.

Until I saw it.

A door.

With the word 'EXIT' above.
