Hinata POV

After a while, I felt Naruto and Neko following us. I didn't like how we were all spitting up and dealing with an enemy alone but there was no other choice. I knew that if Sasuke got out of the barrel then he would continue on his own towards Orochimaru so that means that Naruto will go after Sasuke while Neko fights Kimimaro but I don't know what will happen to me. Will Neko ask to tell me to follow Naruto or to fight with her. And as for Kiba and Shikamaru, I can only hope that Tsunade's help gets here fast enough. I fell behind Kimimaro for a while and called Kiken. I gave him four vials with my chakra in it. Two for each of them since one vial wasn't enough neither for Neji nor Choji. For Choji, my clone had to summon Rida and Neko had to go and help Neji, so I'm not taking any chances this time. I sped up as I felt and strange power coming from Naruto. Kimimaro didn't seem to care so we continued forward.  We stopped in a clearing as Naruto and Neko got closer. Naruto out of the trees yelling as Neko came closely behind "Hinata! Now!" she yelled and I got into my fighting stance. "8 trigrams: 64 palms," I said and started hitting Kimimaro. He dodges most of this hits but as I got faster the more hits I landed. He pushed me back as I was about to make the last hit. I fell on the ground as he was about to hit me. I took out a kunai and blocked his...bone? He made a bone come out of his hand?! How is that possible?   Naruto went for a kick and Kimimaro jumped away. We all looked at each other since there was a distance between us "How should I kill you guys?" Kimimaro asked himself but loud enough for everyone to hear. Kimimaro took in Naruto appearance and I did the same. So this is why they call him a demon fox I thought to myself "What does Orochimaru want with Sasuke?" Naruto yelled at Kimimaro. But Kimimaro stayed expressionless. "Lord Orochimaru has completed the immortality technique. He wants to control the whole world and for he needs time. Endless time." Kimimaro said. "What does that have to do with Sasuke?" Naruto yelled with anger. Then the realization hit me "Orochimaru wants Sasuke's body to be able to complete the technique. He needed Sasuke to go to him willingly because by force then it won't work." I said softly and Kimimaro smirked at me. " And he also needs to continuously change bodies after a certain amount of time because dead bodies, even with someone occupying it, doesn't last long," I added and Kimimaro smirked wider at me. "So she isn't just a weak kunoichi, she has brains as well." I felt a bit offended by that but I didn't let it show. Naruto got angry at this revelation and growled at Kimimaro. Kimimaro made another bone appear as Naruto's red chakra got wilder. I took out two vials of my chakra and gave it to Neko. She knew that she would have to stay back and fight him as Naruto and I took Sasuke back to the village. And so even if she didn't need them, I wanted to be on the safe side.

Naruto made shadow clones and continued to scream at Kimimaro. Naruto just got angrier and angrier as he looked at Kimimaro. Red chakra started surrounding all on the clones and Naruto had grown claws and fangs. All the Naruto's attacked Kimimaro and surprisingly, Kimimaro destroyed the clones that came close to him which made Naruto madder. Kimimaro started hitting each clone one by one, then two Naruto clones threw a kunai and but Kimimaro dodged and the kunai hit two other clones. When Maro (short for Kimimaro) landed back on his feet he smiled creepily. Three Naruto clones took out a kunai and ran up to Maro to attack him but Maro dodged the hits easily. This went on for a while as Neko and I watched. After a while, I looked at the barrel and noticed dark chakra emanating from it. I sensed rapid movement behind me but I decided to ignore it. I had more problems at hand right now. Attack after attack Maro dodged and destroyed Naruto's clones. I would help but I know Naruto will want to do this on his own. Eventually, all his clones were gone and the barrel started leaking out an enormous amount of dark chakra. I took a step forward unconsciously but Neko held my arm and pulled me back. She pulled me back just in time for the barrel to explode. I felt his chakra, but it was different. It was dark and ominous. It suffocated me. I felt my knees go weak but my heart raced at the same time. I was divided between running to him and hugging him or stepping back and letting Neko and Naruto deal with him. The smoke cleared and Sasuke was there but his hair was long and it looked like a mix of gray and blue. His skin was a pale color that looked almost sick. After a few seconds, his hair went back to the original length and color, his skin looked healthy again and the dark aura was gone. Naruto started laughing and yelling happily but I don't think he felt the change in Sasuke. "Sasuke! What are you doing with these clowns?" I looked at Sasuke sadly. I was already too late "Come on! Let's hurry back!" Naruto continued to yell happily. Sasuke's body started twitching as if he was about to laugh "Sasuke?" Naruto said questionable "Hey... let's go home. Everyone is worried." I knew that would change nothing "So" I felt him smirk evilly. He laughed maniacally and it scared me. "Sasuke!" Naruto yelled shocked and angry. The wind blew and a leaf landed by his foot. He stepped on it and jumped away from us, heading towards the border of the fire country. Naruto was about to go after him but Maro came behind him with his dagger-like bone. Neko acted quickly and took out her executioners blade and blocked the hit. "Go after him and take Hinata. She'll be of more use to you than me!" she yelled and Naruto nodded. We took off after Sasuke, leaving Neko to deal with Kimimaro.
