(Sorry about not updating as much as I would like to, my gay children. Yerp I can scope out any gays with my bi-noculars )

Connor stared down at Evan's clear blue sapphire eyes, and shifted on the heels of his feet. Evan stares back at him his eyes intense and glossy.
Connor breathes in deeply, and rests his scarred arm on Evan's shoulder. Evan's face flushes and his hand grow muggy with sweat. Connor couldn't believe he was going to try and set Evan up with his sister. He opened his mouth to speak when the bell rings loudly from above.
Shit Evan thinks to himself. He missed the entirety of his first period. Students begin to file into the halls, and insults are thrown at the pair. Evan hears some jock yell fags from the other side. Connor quickly lowers his hand from the shorter boy's shoulder. Evan grabs his things and loses himself in the crowd. Before he fully disappeared, Connor latched onto Evan's wrist and pulls him back.
"This is not over," he says casually," We will talk at lunch, meet me by the tree."

"O-okay,"

There it was that beautiful stutter again Connor thought to himself.

Soon Evan is pulled away and swept into the ocean of hormonal teenage students. Humming to himself he escapes and heads to his second period. He drops his stuff in the English room while taking a seat. Not even five minutes into class, a speaker summons him to the theatre room. He walks down the lengthy hall and finds a seat in the theatre. As he sits down in the spacious room, Alana taps his shoulder.
"O-oh hey A-Alana." Evan sputters out, turning slightly to meet her gaze.
"Hey Ev, how's it going, you look like ass."
"This I-is how I r-run on two h-hours of sleep. Why am I here?"
" I may or may not have spilled the news about your vocal talent to Christine Canigula." She says shamelessly.

Evan knew Christine, Jeremy's ex girlfriend. She was nice enough, and it was clear she had a passion for the stage.

"W-what?!" He responded dazedly.
"She wants you to be a part of this years performance of Hamilton." Alana says giddily.
"Wait, w-were putting on H-Hamilton?"
"Yeah awesome right."
"N-no, well yes, H-Hamilton is freaking a-amazing, b-but I can't perform publicly, I had a meltdown when I-I sang f-for you a-and the group."

Ignoring Evan's incessant rambling, Alana continued.

"You'd have to audition, but I already know you'll get the part."

"Even if I agreed to this,w-which I h-have not, w-who's part would I be p-playing?"

"W-well Eliza Schuyler of course."

"W-what?! I'd be playing a girl part, a-and E-Eliza's at t-that, she I-is I-in a fern ton o-of songs. Can I not p-play a u-useless role .... l-like Peggy."

(Sorry to diss our bootiful baby Peggy, don't you love how they don't acknowledge her existence after the Schuyler sisters song)

Alana smirked, at Evan, and his total detestation for foul language, when he did use it, it was rare and you knew he was really upset.

"Just audition, I'm not saying you have to join us, but at least try out Evan. You're good, you may not know it, but we do. Auditions are Friday."

"I-I'll think a-about it." He stated awkwardly.

"Good, bye Evan." She waved and walked away.

After their short chat, he wandered the halls back to his class, his thoughts racing. His breathing was starting to stifle, and his eyes were growing moist. Evan turned into the closest bathroom, which happened to be down the hall. Evan entered to see Connor smoking a cigarette by the window. The door closed loudly behind him. If he wasn't noticed before, he definitely was now.

Connor turned to face him, and saw the tears streaking his adorable plump face. Soon his soft freckles were drowned out with his salty sobs. Connor rushed to his side and surrounded him in a warm bear hug. He stared into Evan's eyes and did breathing exercises. In for five, hold for four, and out for six. Soon he was somewhat calm, relaxing in the warmth of Connor's grasp. The bell rang out. Evan left the room and smiled in Connor's direction. Connor stared back confused.

"I'll tell you later," he whispered back softly.

Rushing to make it to his American History class Evan bumped into Michael. He fell back. Michael reached his hand out to offer him a lift up. Evan grabbed it willingly.

"You want to head to class together?"
"S-sure,"

The pair walked in a comfortable silence, until Michael noticed the flushed color in Evan's face.

"Were you crying Evan, did you fight with Connor again?"

"N-no, well y-yes, okay so I was crying,b-but I w-wasn't fighting w-with Connor."

"What happened then?" He said calmly, as the two sat in class.

"A-Alana told me to a-audition as E-Eliza for this years musical p-production of H-Hamilton."

"That's great news man, you didn't tell me you could sing."

"I don't think I can, but e-everyone else s-seems to."

"Well I'm sorry it upset you, I could tell you don't do well with crowds,"

The final bell rang for class to begin, and the teacher started calling names off the roster. Jeremy made it just before the bell, and took a seat next to Michael. He smiled in Evan's direction. Evan grinned slightly in reply. Jeremy questioned to Michael what was wrong and with allowance from Evan, He explained the situation.

Whilst the teacher spoke, Evan scribbled notes down in his class journal. Soon class ended and he was freed to lunch. Michael and Jeremy stopped him on his way out, asking if they could sit with him. He nodded in agreement and told them to meet him at the oak tree in the back. They went to return their items, and headed to the tree. Evan knew Connor would be there, but he didn't know he would arrive so quickly. When Evan showed, Connor was already sitting peacefully under the oak, sketching. The other two followed suit and joined them under the tree five minutes later.

"So what the whole panic episode about?" Connor asked delicately.

Jeremy's face lifted up, brimming with excitement. As Evan tried to speak, Jeremy jumped in and explained the entire situation. Evan silently thanked Jeremy for answering, which meant he didn't have to.
Connor stared back excited and worried simultaneously.

"Wow." He said in amazement, " Do you think your gonna go through with it."

"Y-yeah I think I will," Evan said more confidently," I will b-never be s-satisfied until I branch out more."

Jeremy and Michael exploded into laughter.

"Did you just low key make a song reference?" Michael asked through giggles.

"N-nobody needs t-to know..." Evan replied smiling.

"Please stop, doing that." Connor said a smile tugging at his lips.

This boy will be the death of me, Connor thought staring back at Evan's sandy blonde locks.

"It's n-nonstop C-Connor."

"I'm just, I'm just done." He said jokingly.

"So were good right," Connor continued.

"Were good." Evan replied, while wrapping his arms around Connor to give him a hug.

Soon a familiar voice yelled 'GAY' from not far off.
