it has been 3 weeks since ive moved to LA. i started my photography and design business. i also am working on getting some modeling gigs again. i wake up and make a kale and pineapple smoothie and sit down and continue watching the office. my phone dings.
"hey girl. lunch?"corinna asks.
"yes! what time and where?" i text back.
corinna and I have gotten really close. she's my new best friend. ive also met toddy, scott, kristen, and zane. they always talk about another guy they want me to meet. he's also a youtuber like them. his name is david dobrik and he's a TOTAL dreamboat. ive watched some of his videos so i could get a better knowing of him before i actually met him. he almost looks so familiar.
"1:00 and wingstop. can i bring someone to lunch with me? i want you to meet them." corinna asks.
"sure!" i reply.
i begin to get ready. i put on my birks, black shorts, and a blue tank top. i straighten my hair and then put on some light makeup. i grab my keys and begin to drive. as i start to walk through the doors i look through the window to see corinna and wave then I realize david dobrik is sitting next to her. holy jesus. my heart rate speeds up. davids eyes get wide.
"wait! you are the girl from the club!"
holy shit. i play the scene back in my mind. the guy that i run into and he tries to stop me. it. was. david.
"no way!!" corinna yells, "he's hasn't shut up about the girl he saw about to cry in the club. he talked about how beautiful she was and how he wishes he could have stopped her!"
davids face turns red and my jaw was on the ground. i was totally embarrassed. i think they both noticed because corinna shut up real quick and david began to talk.
"sorry. i didn't mean to make that weird and uncomfortable." he laughs nervously.
"no. no. it's okay. that was a bad night lol." i laughed. "i would have stopped to talk. im actually not a bitch i promise!"
corinna smiles, "she's literally the sweetest most fun person ever."
"thanks rinna." i smile.
we sit finally sit down and order. i got 6 boneless teriyaki wings and some fries. david got the same. corinna got parm boneless wings. we chow down and get to know each other better. when we finally get done. we stand up to leave.
"it was so nice meeting you bailey." he shyly smiles and scratches the back of his head. he then comes at me to give me a hug.
god. i love hugs so much. i leaned in and hugged back. he smelt so amazing. "it was great meeting you too david!" i say back after we hug.
i jump in my tesla heart racing. i knew i was catching feelings and i was still getting over derek but david made my heart melt. his personality was so genuine. his smile so pure. his goofy stance and clothing choice. there was definitely something different about him though. a good different. a different i could definitely love. i sit in the driveway of my apartment. i am zoned out listening to temptation by future. my phone dings and i snap out of my trance.

my heart was racing. i don't think it could take much more. every time i interact with david it almost beats out of my chest. david sends me his address and the time. i decide to take a nap before i go over.
