Chapter One: The Dream
(This is my first story, so I hope you guys like it!) :)
Me and my best friend, Luke, raced to the frozen lake where we would always hang out. We laughed as we ran, and I thought, "This is a great life!" The breeze was cool,a light snow fell, and the birds chirped softly. We ran to the weeping willow tree that hung over the back of the lake to our hiding spot.
The spot was behind the tree and there was a little hole we it made that will hold the both of us. The cool part is that we can stand up in it, and actully walk around! It was like a hidden igloo that no-one could find because behind the tree is a slope, and nobody knows about it!
But I heard a sound, a growl almost. I lifted up the flap that hides our hideout, and i saw something that resembled a black hole, but it was a bluish-white. It got bigger every moment that went by. I tried to get Luke to help, but I looked like he was dazed.
I felt a hot pain slash arcross my upper arm, and screamed as loud as I could but in the back of my mind, I knew that no-one would help me.
