I rang the door bell to Luke's house. I couldn't get that dream I had last night off my mind though. It just felt and looked so real. I didn't tell anyone about it yet. Me and Luke had planned to go to the hideout to maybe make it bigger, so we could put more stuff inside it.
I guess I was to deep into my thoughts to hear Luke answer the door. He was shaking me now. "Maddy!" Luke yelled. I looked up at him. He had his winter coat on, with snow gloves, and a wool beanie on his head.
I looked down at his feet and frowned. "Who wears vans in the snow?" I asked already knowing what he would say.
He gave a little chuckle, "Me."
"So are you ready to go? I want to start improving on the hideout before it starts snowing again." I said.
"Sure, lets go to the shed to get some tools, then we'll head out to the hideout."
As we walked on the snow that covered the streets and sidewalks I thought about the dream more. I didnt even realize that we were at the shed until Luke yelled at me again.
"We need to talk when we get to the hideout,ok?" Luke said softly to me and we got the supplies we needed.
We got two shovels, two buckets, and then we started to look around for stuff to make the place better. When we got everything we neeeded, we headed out of the shed and started to walk to the frozen lake. I was just a bit scared to what Luke was going to say to me.
