Howdy! Welcome to my survival school! I'm Henry the Hermit but you can call me Henry the Hermit. I have been out in the forest's of Montana for 15 years now, and with some hard-work and determination, you can be like me!

Let me introduce myself, I'm Henry the Hermit, I am thirty-five years old, I stand around 6'2, 175 pounds, red slick back hair, brown eyes, and I have an amazing, foot long, red, majestic beard.

alrighty, introductions are done, now time to continue!

We are going to discuss rule #1, pick only mushrooms that you know are safe. This is important because you could accidently pick a poisonous mushroom that you think is safe, I usually only pick morel mushrooms and cauliflower mushrooms, since I know they wont make me die.

And after you pick them, double check. This is important because I didn't one time and I was throwing mud for two days straight. Let me tell you how this unfortunate thing happened.

I had a sack made out of an elks stomach that is very helpful, helps me carry everything and anything I need. Anyway, I was picking morels and  I saw the most evil thing, a chipmunk. Don't let their cuteness fool you, they are the spawns of Satan. So the chipmunk is right in front of me, I'm on all fours looking for some mushrooms and the devil starts to get closer.

My bag is a foot away from me and I notice he has something in his demonic furry paws, he's too far away to tell, he runs into my bag for a second and runs back out.

I look in my bag to see that maybe he took a dump in there, but there was nothing. Maybe he was curious, maybe chipmunks aren't as bad as I thought. WRONG!

Turns out the wee devil put a bad mushroom in my bag so that I got sick, he didn't want to kill me, no. He wanted to continue his little game and make my life miserable.

And that folks is why you should always check, and double-check mushrooms even if you think you're right the first time.

That was rule #1, I hoped you enjoyed and I hope that you one day, will be able to survive in tough circumstances. Tune in again for rule #2, I wont tell you because I want it to be a surprise. Henry the Hermit tuning out until next time, stay safe and don't trust chipmunks.
