Nicholas Archeron stood before a female he had never seen before. She didn't smell of any court but he knew she was a trained warrior, he could tell that by the way she stood before him. He could also tell that she was powerful. The power rippling out of her body, he had never sensed so much power on one person. She was small and thin, not like the bulky Illyrian female warriors at the camps. And her hair was a blonde-silver colour. And her eyes. Her eyes were turquoise, and had what looked like a ring of fire in them.

He had seen her kill the martax and get ready to fight the other two. He was almost tempted to watch to see if she'd be able to bring them both down, but he intervened and killed them instead.

Nicholas grinned at the female and took a step towards her. Bad move because quicker than he could react, she shot an dagger at him. It drove itself into his right thigh. He groaned and went to pull it out only to notice that the dagger was not one made of steel or iron but of ice. He looked up and there was ice on the tips of her fingers.

He pulled out the dagger and threw it on the ground. He straightened up and looked her in the eyes. He clicked his tongue and grinned. "Naughty girl," he purred. The girl snarled at him. Showing him her sharp canines. Interesting.

"Who are you?" He asked her. "None of your business," the female spat back. "It is when your in my court," he growled back. The female just stared daggers, as cold as the one she threw, at him

Realising she wasn't going to cooperate, Nicholas introduced himself. "I'm Nicholas Archeron, if your wondering. Son of the high Lord and Lady of the Night Court." She raised her brow at that, then looked in his eyes for a long time before saying "Samantha Ashryver Whitethorn Galathynius." That...was a long name he thought.

"What brings you to Prythian?" He asked. "I don't know." Was her only reply. Suddenly she stumbles back, one hand gripping her thigh. Blood soaked through her fingers. He had not realised she'd been injured. He starts to move towards her but she holds up a hand. "Don't," she says, her voice barley a whisper. "Come any closer." He ignores her command and take another step, then another, until he's standing right in front of her. Her breathing is uneven and her eyes are unfocused. He scoops her up into his arms and winnows them to the House of Wind.

Nicholas appeared in the middle of the main room in the house of wind. Cassian, who was sitting on the couch with Mor, jumps up with his sword pointed at Nicholas. Realising who is at the end of his sword he lowers it and curses. "Mother's tits, Nick you have got to sto..." he stops mid sentence noticing that Nicholas was holding a female, who was currently unconscious. Nicholas walks towards the couch as Mor gets up, concern in her eyes. "What happened?" She asked. At that moment the High Lord and Lady of the Night Court walk in.
They took one look at their son and the unconscious female he had just placed on couch and hurry over.

"What happened?" His mother, Feyre, asked, worry laced in her voice. He told them what happened. How he was flying home when he felt a strange force appear, then disappear almost immediately. He then flew down and saw a female surrounded by three martaxes. He watched as she took one down but not before one injured her thigh. As he was explaining what happened, Feyre was kneeling in front of the girl healing her.

When Nicholas told them she had thrown an ice dagger at him, his father, Rhysand, looked down at his leg with worry, but Cassian only chuckled. Nicholas glared at Cassian but that only made him laugh more. Feyre stood up and said that they needed to move the female to another room. Rhysand scooped up the girl and walked down the hall into an empty bedroom, where the girl would stay until she woke up.

After letting his mother look at his thigh Nicholas went to his room, had a bath and got into bed all the while he couldn't stop thinking of where this girl came from.
