Samantha couldn't believe it, her father had come for her. Her father had found a way to save her. To bring her home. With the help of Fenrys. Fenrys! She thought and ran from her fathers side to embrace the male. He hugged her back "Nice to see you again kiddo," he said ruffling her hair. Samantha batted away his hand and strode back to her fathers side. Fenrys and Rowan has a silent conversation and then Fenrys disappeared. Not even a minute later he can back but not alone. Standing beside Fenrys was Aelin Ashryver Whitethorne Galanthynius.
Aelin's eyes darted from Azriel to Rhysand to Cassian and Nicholas to Rowan and finally to her daughter. The two woman ran to each other and embraced. "I was worried sick," Aelin whispered into Samantha's ear. Samantha hugged her mother tighter. Finally they pulled apart. Aelin looked back to the four Illyrian males and asked "Who are you?" Rhysand stood up from where he was crouched down beside Nicholas and said "I am Rhysand the High Lord of the Night Court. This is Azriel my shadowsinger, Cassian the generals of my army and Nicholas, my son. I think we need to talk."
Aelin narrowed her eyes at the Illyrian males then turned to Samantha, a question in her eyes as if to ask can we trust them? Samantha just gave her mother a small nod. "Alright then, but I think we better have this conversation somewhere — warmer." Rhysand nodded and turned to Fenrys "You can winnow?" Fenrys looked confused so Samantha answered for him "Yes he can." "Alright, Cas you Nick and Az can fly back with Rowan and Samantha while the white wolf, Samantha's mother and I will winnow in." Rowan opened his mouth to complain but Aelin gave him a look and he closed his mouth. "Alright then shall we?" Rhys said. Rowan and Samantha shifted into hawk form and Cassian, Azriel and Nicholas flapped their wings and took off.
The group who winnowed in arrived first but as they couldn't winnow into the House of Wind Rhys had to fly the two faeries up. Feyre, Mor and Nesta were waiting for them in the living room. Not shortly after the other group arrived, Rowan and Samantha shifting back to they're Fae forms. Aelin sat down in an armchairs and Rowan was instantly leaning against the side of it. Samantha knew that stance and although it looked casual, at the slightest threat to her mother, Rowan would suck the air from everybody's lung without a second thought.
Rhys sat down on the arm of the armchair Feyre was sitting on, the mirror of her father. Cassian, Nesta and Mor sat along one couch and Nick and Samantha on the other. Fenrys was sanding beside Samantha, keeping a watchful eye on Nicholas while Azriel was standing in the shadows as usual.
Aelin suddenly tensed and leaned forward staring Rhys dead in the eye. "It's very rude to try look into a ladies head, or anyone's for that matter, without permission." She drawled. Everyone in the room was right to have a little fear in their eyes when Aelin added in a deadly calm voice. "Try that again and I'll burn your city to ash." And then as if nothing happened she leaned back into the armchair. "So," she clapped her hands. "Let's begin."
