Sam's POV

Me and Colby have been best friends for a while now but I have always had small feelings for him but as every day passes my feelings get stronger.

I know that Colby is gay but he doesn't know I am.

I haven't told anyone, I'm not scared of it but I'm just not sure if I'm ready to tell people yet.

When I do come out I'm not going to tell Colby I have feelings for him as I'm sure he doesn't like me in that way, or even thinks of me in that way.

Colby is so kind though so even when I get the feeling he likes me back, there is a voice in the back of my head telling me it's just me imagining it because I want it to be true.

After 25 minutes of overthinking I finally decided today I was going to record a coming out video.

I'm not going to upload it yet but its a way for Colby to find out.

I'm going to ask Colby if he can help with a video and whilst he is sat behind the camera I'm going to say it.

Time to see how he reacts I guess..

Finally after a lot of contemplating I set up my camera then sent Colby a text.

Sam- hey, are you able to come over and help me with this video?

Colby- yeah, be there in a sec

Okay its time, this evening is going to be stressful.

*TIME SKIP TO AFTER COLBY HAD GOT TO SAM'S*

Me and Colby have been talking casually for about an hour when we finally decide to do the video.

Sitting in front of the camera I was anxious and my heart was beating really loudly, to be honest I'm surprised Colby couldn't hear...

"So today guys this is going to be a very serious video, I have Colby behind the camera for support as this isn't going to be easy... Colby doesn't know what this is about so he will be finding out like how you guys are so here it goes... I'm gay an-"

Before I could finish my sentence I hear him speak up.

"Y-Y-Your what?"

"I'm not straight, I'm sorry I told you this way but I didn't know how else to say it" I said, sounding as shaky as Colby.

"Are you dating some-" I cut him off quickly and say:

"No but I like someone and they are my best friend and also coincidently sat in front of me..." Before I could even process that I just let those words come out of my mouth Colby has stood up and is running towards me.

He tackles me off the chair and says the words I only imagined him saying..

"I love you too Sam"
