Chapter 4 the date

I get out my make up bag and search through it to find my black Rimmel mascara, my pink maybelline lipstick, my silver metalic eyeshadow and my l'oreal foundation. first I start of with a light coat of foundation then I put quite a thick layer of lipstick on. then over the top I put on lip gloss. I then move onto the eyes. I grab my brush and the eyeshadow and start brushing it on. I finally put my mascara on then I'm good to go .

As I walk out of the bathroom door I spot my dad on the landing so I dive into my brothers room to hide! If my dad finds out I'm going on a date he will lock me in my room like he did last time. I tried to sneak out but he caught me and started hitting me again and again. I have got to stay out of his way this time.

Dylan:" get out!!!!"

Kate:"no I've got to hide from dad"

Dylan:" fine but you have to sneak me out to. deal?"

Kate:"deal"

So we stay in his room until we can't hear anything. then we slowly tip toe along the landing, trying not to make a sound but then. creak!!

Kate:"DYLAN"

Dylan:" I'm sorry, but quick run cos I can hear the toilet flushing and that means dads coming out!!!"

So we run down the stairs and into the kitchen. that's were we are planing to make our escape, through the back door.

I snook out first leaving Dylan to follow behind me. We said to mum that we was going to our friends house so she didn't question us who we was going out with.

I waited about 5 minutes outside and then a red Ferrari came round the corner. and guess who was sitting in the drivers seat. Tom!!!

He had borrowed it from his dad to come and pick me up. I got in and he said....

Tom:" we're do u wanna go??"

Kate:"don't mind"

Tom:" what about the cinema then a nice romantic meal after?"

Kate:"that sounds well, perfect"
