Sommer P.O.V.
I groaned as I watered my plants. The trickling sound of water from the spout, the blue skies, warm sun and the gentle breeze should have made me feel relaxed. But, alas I was overrun with thoughts about the last time Xav was here in this garden.
I'm confused... to say the least. I've never felt that way before for him. The rapidly beating heart, breathlessness, the completely frozen, totally captivated stare into his crystal blue eyes, the flush spreading through my body at our contact. At first, his extremely exuberant and boisterous self was like a toot horn in my face. I immediately felt distaste. It was very much unlike my calmer persona. But, day by day, and minute by minute I became accustomed to his way of being, and eventually we became friends- unwittingly to me, he'd grown on me. I just never thou-
I jumped backwards as I felt my toes become splashed with cold, wet liquid. Shoot! The pot was flooded. I attempted to tip out as much water as possible before setting down the can with a sigh. I'm totally, completely fudged. And I just drowned my plant.
Great.
I kicked off my flip flops and popped myself on the living room sofa dramatically. I stared up at the plastered white ceiling for a good while, trying to focus on some meditation to calm my thoughts. With a large sigh, I slid my phone out from my pocket which had been buzzing for the past five minutes.
Surprise.
It was just the person I had been trying to stop thinking about.
Xavier Samuel Jensen.
Numerous group texts filled the screen plus a whole bunch of others from him separately. Apparently they've all decided to have a group dinner tonight since it's been a while.

Shh, you know you just can't
wait to see me again 😊I rolled my eyes and set my phone down, before trying to return back to meditation. After a while, I reluctantly hopped into the shower to get ready for the night out. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see my friends. It's just that, for once I feel nervous... and I'm usually not like that. And never around Xavier. I don't know what's going on with my head lately- he seems to be messing with it more than usual. Perhaps in a way that I can't handle.
Stepping out of the shower, I ran a brush through my shoulder length hair. My dark roots had grown out a little, giving the faded light pink and platinum blonde hair an ombré effect. I quite liked the pink at the moment, I might have to grab another bottle of the temporary dye. Maybe I could run a bit of lilac through it too. That would look pretty. I loved to experiment with my looks, to me, I suppose the body was just another canvas for art and expression. I'd gotten a few small tattoos, a camera with an ECG line run through it on the outside of my wrist, a small feather behind my ear and a moonflower on my ribs. Each had their own little special meaning.
