Holy Crap I'm Sasuke!

My eyes snapped open, reality flooding my senses once again.

Itachi fell to one knee holding his face, blood leaking between his fingers. His body shook and he made a vain effort to stand, only to fall to his hands and knees.

Kisame landed in front of me, "I dont know how you beat Itachi's Tsukyomi, but you ain't avenging anything today."

Sakura came from above, I hadn't even sensed her!

No! He's too strong for you! I screamed mentally. I shot forward, but Sakura reared her fist back and bellowed, "SHAAARRAAANOOOOO!!!!"

Kisame brought his sword around and hit her full force, sending her flying into a tree that splintered on contact.

She dropped roughly and I could see blood drip from her ears and nose. Realization struck me like a hammer.

I ran past Kisame, who scoffed, over to Sakura.

I was afraid to touch her, as if I'd somehow make it worse. Tears flooded my eyes and I grit my teeth.

Naruto and Hinata landed near us, looking like they'd been through a literal Hell. Naruto was bleeding from cuts, bruised, and his left arm was broken.

Hinata was in a similar condition minus the broken arm. The only enemy left was Kisame.

"Hinata..." I whispered, getting the pale girl's attention. "Can you watch her?" I picked Sakura up, cradling her gently, and looked into Hinata's fierce eyes. She nodded, "Do what you have to, Sasuke-kun..."

"Naruto. Can you fight?" I asked the blonde.

Naruto still stared at Sakura. Of course! He still has a crush on her... he doesnt know how to process. That's okay... all of this is my fucking fault. And with that, pain exploded in my eyes, but I remained standing until it subsided.

Hinata gasped, "Your eyes!"

"Yeah, I know, I made the connection. Fucking mangekyo, right?" I growled painfully.

I glared at Kisame with my new eyes, getting him to clap, "Those look like your big brothers eyes, a bit. Let me guess, you wanna kill me?"

"Damn skippy, fish stick. It ain't gonna be a quick death though." I told him, pulling the most sage chakra as I could manage from the mark, giving me access to my divine mode.

I crouched and his smile vanished when I appeared in front of him, foot firmly planted in his chest.

Air exploded from his lungs as he was launched back. I chased him down mid flight and caught his ankle, using my other fist to punch him into the ground with enough force to make Sakura proud.

The earth shattered and I kicked him in the ribs, sending him into his own tree trunk.

He coughed up blood and dodged at the last second as I charged with a chidori, my powerful chakra sliced the tree in half and both ends were on fire.

Kisame wiped his mouth, "Damn kid, like that you're not bad. Could cause me some real trouble if I wasnt careful."

"Stop talking!" I growled, flexing my chakra I created two shadow clones that set fire to the forest around us.

Kisame charged forward and stabbed samehada forward, hoping to drain my chakra.

Too slow.

I flipped over the massive sword, spinning and gathering lightning chakra in a single instant. I sliced open his shoulder with one hand using the chidori and then nailed him to the ground by stabbing through his leg with my sword directly into stone.

Kisame cursed as he dropped Samehada. The fire around us drained the water in the air and prevented him from using ninjutsu.

I stepped around him, peering into his eyes. "First thing" I focused on bringing forth the black flames, setting him on fire with fire that couldn't be put out by anyone but me or Itachi.

Kisame grit his teeth and stared me down even as he was being burned alive.

He didnt care about any of this, his death doesnt matter...

Sakura wouldnt want this. I pictured the chunin exams where Sakura had stopped me from killing a girl.

Then, I beheaded Kisame with my sword, disgusted with myself.

I just wanted to come to this universe, become a badass, laugh at shit, and make fun of the weird shit in the show... but I like these people. I love them, really. They're my family now...

And now Sakura... she... I closed my eyes, releasing my nature chakra and walked back over to my team with a heavy heart for the first time since I'd been here.
