Within the dark night in the city of Clifford as the clock struck midnight, parked seven black trucks, their owners ready to attack just in the right time. Their aim; the Dome of girls' convent. Tonight they'll make their ever so final move....

Tammy's POV

Sister Elsbeth and I descended the stairs from the chapel holding our usual conversation, growth in Christ. She was my best friend and mentor. Ever since I was brought here, she and I chained from the very beginning with her always comforting me and encouraging me when I was down.

"Elssie,?" I suddenly stopped "D'you think my parents could be alive and they just didn't want me in their lives so they.....

" Shhh, my dear."She held my cheek with a smile. I just wanted to know but every time I spoke something related to my parents, she shhed me but..I had to at least know.
"Tammy,I know how you feel...

" No,you don't, " I interrupted her. How could she possibly know how I feel. Its not like her parents just dumped her in the streets. Elsbeth with drew her hand holding with the other.

"Tammy,as much as you'd love to know about your parents. I...I can't tell you any thing," her face was filled with concern the hurt she felt saying those words were transparent in her eyes and I could see it with less effort and it made me feel so bad.

"But...why not,Elssie?" my brows furrowed automatically tears pricking from beneath my eyes lids burning their way out but I held onto them.

"Because... because i.. I don't know anything about them either." she replied

"But how did you know my name was Tammy?" I asked

"Sister Gertrude gave you that.....

BANG!!!!!

Our attention is switched immediately we hear the loud bang.
" Wha-what was that?" I asked

"I not sure. Come here," Elsbeth pulls me close to her as we continue to listen. Most of the girls from the East quarters fill the corridor with inquisitive faces. None of us knew what was going on. Sister Norah scampered down the stairs quickly and most of the young girls surrounded her.

"Its oka.....

" Aghhhhhhhh!!!!!"  terrified shrieks break out from the North quarters and we can all hear loud foot steps racing through the main corridors.

"Men!!!! Men!!! Sister Norah...men!!!" We hear one of the girls scream before she is suddenly silent.

"Shut up you," we hear a rough voice from above which in reality belongs to a man. We all scream and start to run through the small corridor. Elsbeth grabs my hand leading me towards the stairs. We both run away from the frightened mob of girls back to the chapel.

Elsbeth closes the door and secures it with the bolt before we crouch behind the statue of Holy Mary. I raise my gaze at her with terror but she squeezes my hands in hers giving me a reassuring smile.

Never in my life did I think that one time any one would think about breaking into the convent and try to harm us. Especially men. I didn't even know what men looked like. I just heard stories.

"Elssie, am scared." I held onto her sleeve tightly trying so hard not to cry.

"Shhh, its gonna be okay, Tammy. C'mon let's pray." she held my hands and we both knelt and closed our eyes.

"Hail Mary,full of grace....

Bang!

The chapel door burst open switching our attention. Elsbeth held me against her and her palm over my mouth to keep me from making a sound.

" Check over there. I'll go this side," a deep voice aired out suddenly and I could it was man.

"Okay," the other replied and the split up their footsteps loud with each slow and careful step they took. I glanced up at Elsbeth and I was surprised. She didn't at all look terrified like I was but instead she had that thinking look on her face and I knew she an idea ticking.

"Am gonna go out and distract them while you run, okay." She looked down at me

"No!" I whisper yelled "am not leaving you to those monsters." I told her but she rolled her big blue eyes at me

"I'll be fine. Look after you run then I'll follow. They won't catch me." She convinced me

"Promise?"

"I promise." she smiled but deep within that smile she had on was something I couldn't figure out. An emotion so distant and new to me. Before she left, she pecked my head and hugged me tight

"I love you,Elssie," I hugged her back

"I love you too,my sweet Tam Tam," she wiped her stray tear "okay, remember once they're not looking you run as fast as you can then I'll follow,"

I nodded and braced my self as she turned and stood up slowly and walking into full view.

"Would you look at that," one of the men said with a chuckle "We have a brave one here Kyle." he hollered getting the other's attention

"My! Who knew this fucked up place keeps the most beautiful of all," the other I assume is Kyle said

"I gotta tell ya,Kyle these bitches are worth the while. My goodness!"

"Aren't you ashamed of your selves?" Elsbeth snapped at them taking their attention

I heard them chuckle with amazement before Kyle spoke

"We are pretty ashamed babe. That we didn't even me here in the first place," he replied and both of them burst out laughing

Elsbeth took that chance to steal a glance at me and signalled for me to make a run for it.

"I wonder how'd you'd look without those ugly old school dresses, y'know." The other man said

I stood up slowly still keeping my self hidden from sight as the two men complemented Elsbeth.

1..2..3..

I dashed out swiftly through the chapel's open door

"Stop! Girl!"

I turned around to see if Elsbeth was behind me. Of course she was but her dress failed her

"Elssie...

" Run!"she hollered at me as the other man ran through the hall to get to me but I couldn't just leave with out her

"Tammy...run! Run!" she clamoured this time

"But.." The man was getting closer. She tried to fight Kyle off but her was too strong for her

"Tammy...run!!" She snapped and I did it,I ran. I knew if I had been caught, she would scold me and I didn't want that so I ran with a heavy heart. I found my way through the slide route. I could hear the other man chasing after me. He wouldn't catch me in this part of the Abby so I took that as an advantage.
