(Y/N) nursed Link back to health within less than the hour he fainted. When he woke up, Link wasn't speaking as much as he would have. His face was set in a daze, and when looking at (Y/N) he turned away. This frustrated her, but there wasn't anything she could do when it looked like he saw a ghost of the past.

He used the paraglider to sail down towards the dirt path leading to Hyrule Castle. He glanced at the castle and started walking towards it, which raised caution inside (Y/N). She stopped him in his tracks, grabbing his shoulder. "What are you doing?"

"Heading towards Hyrule Castle." He said with a fire lit inside his crystal clear blue eyes.

(Y/N) sighed, and kept pushing him back as she dragged her feet in the ground. "Are you suicidal? You can't fight Calamity Ganon the way you are! You have to train first! Let's go to Kakariko Village first!"

Link stopped suddenly, making (Y/N) almost fall forward onto him. "We don't even know where that is! Do you have a better situation while we just sit here and do nothing?"

(Y/N) growled and threw her hands up in the air. "You know what, go ahead! I nursed you back to health after you suddenly fainted!"

Link looked away and started walking again, a throbbing headache starting to appear inside his head. "I don't know why that happened, alright? Just leave alone."

A noise in the grassland area caught both their attention. It sounded like a neigh of some sort, making Link's point ears twitch with excitement. His memories of riding a horse were faint, but he knew deep inside his heart he loved the air and wind when dashing with the horse's speed. Link forgot all about (Y/N) in the instance and jogged towards the noise. (Y/N) gacked at his attention for her, but still kept pace with him.

There was a horde of monsters nearby as Link took quick work of them, but he seemed to be having some trouble with the blue colored monsters. (Y/N) helped Link by slashing through the monster clean through the stomach. She still didn't understand where all this power came from, but her power seemed to destroy monsters from the inside and out. Link didn't thank her, but that was fine with her, they were in silent disagreement.

They soon found a stable, a small one by the looks of it. The sound they heard where horses. Link rushed towards the stable, leaving (Y/N) in the dust. She rolled her eyes and decided to just float over to him. There were actual alive people, not glowing with a blue aura or flames around them. He felt so relieved he could almost cry.

"You there!" A dark skin man called out to him. "Are you in need of refuge?"

"We both need refuge."

The man eyebrows raised, looking past him. "Both? Are there two of you?"

Link stopped him his tracks, but he couldn't let his shock overwhelm him. "Nevermind, I misspoke. Do you know where Kakariko Village is?"

"Just follow the dirt road leading away from Hyrule Castle, and there you should find Dueling Peak Stables. They'll be able to give you better directions than I can. Are you also interested in registering a horse?"

"Where do I find one?"

"There should be some over that hill. Be careful of those Guardians. I don't know how this stable has been able to keep safe, but they don't seem to leave the area of Hyrule Castle often. But still, be careful, young man."

"Will do."

Link jogged over the hill the man talked about as (Y/N) floated by his side. "Did... did he not see me?"

"I don't know," he said, panting, "but let's not focus on that right now."

Rage clouded over (Y/N)'s judgment, making her grit her teeth. Ever since the King told Link the history over one hundred years, his attention and attitude have changed. More... focused on himself and someone else, but she didn't know who the other person was. Putting the puzzle together inside his mind was more complicated than her trying to figure out who and what she is herself.
