It had already been about a month since Shouto and (Y/n) had been training together. The two have both developed their attacking technique, defense, and their friendship.
(Y/n) turned to Shouto once they were done their little sparring.
"Hey Todoroki. I have an idea." Shouto looked to (Y/n).
"Yes, (L/n)?" He replied.
"What If after training, we hang out and get some food. Like how friends do." Shouto first stared at (Y/n). To hang out with the boy, doing something other then fighting had been on (Y/n)'s mind for awhile. Shouto nodded his head. The two finished up their training after one more friendly battle. (Y/n) grabbed the sweater she threw to the side earlier and put it over her (f/c) tee shirt.
-Outside-
(Y/n) and Shouto had been wandering around the city for awhile.
"(L/n)?" Shouto asked (Y/n), not bothering to turn his head over to the shorter girl.
"Mhmm?" (Y/n) Replied, lazily. Shouto chuckled under his breath.
"Where are we headed too exactly?" (Y/n) thought.
"Oh... I forgot I was in charge of taking us somewhere." Shouto sighed. A small genuine smile adorning his face.
"Uhhh.... let's go there!"
Fortunately, the two were passing by a mall at the moment. Then a moment of realization hit (Y/n).
"Wait... I didn't bring money..."
"I did." Shouto held up a little bag of money in his hands.
"Todoroki, no. I brought you out here and I don't want to be spending your money." He smirked.
"It's my dads money." The girl then smirked. She didn't completely know the circumstances between the boy and his father, but she knew enough to comprehend Shouto's hatred towards his dad.
"In that case, let's go!" (Y/n) pumped her fist in the air, grabbing Shoutos wrist with the other one. He was shocked for a second, not knowing why, but he just laughed it off and let the girl drag him away.
-In the mall-
(Y/n) had seen nothing in particular that had sparked her interest yet. The stores that they passed were all clothing stores that had nothing of (Y/n)'s style. After some more walking, (Y/n) finally spotted something. Not for her, but for the Todo. It was a Zuko keychain.
"TO.DO.RO.KI! COME HERE PLEASE!" (Y/n) ran ahead into the store. It was full of little fandom keychains, stickers, plushies and much more.
"Todoroki... please let me buy this for you! ...With your dads money, heheh.." (Y/n) held up the Zuko keychain she spotted 5 seconds ago. It was a sort of chibi version of the fiery boi.
"I love Zuko and I just thought about it! You and him both have fire powers and ur both real hot." Shouto stared at (Y/n) with wide eyes, a blush swept across his face.
"H-huh? Wait what did I say? I didn't say anything weird... Umm yes anyways-" (Y/n) turned to the cashier lady.
"I'll take this keychain please. Oh wait! This one too."
***THIS PARAGRAPH HAS AN "AVATAR: THE LAST AIR BENDER" SPOILER***
"Sooo... who is that?" Shouto pointed to the little keychain (Y/n) had bought for herself.
"Well I was thinking. Since you have Zuko, I got Aang!" (Y/n) smiled.
"Who?" The girl thought of a way to shorten the story.
"Well, Zuko and Aang were enemies. All Zuko wanted to do was track down Aang, the avatar. After a couple of episode of Zuko gaining sanity, he decides to help teach Aang firebending and joins the good guys. I hope we can maybe be good friends like that." (Y/n) looked up to Shouto.
"Me too (L/n). Me too." Shouto chuckled.
***OK WE GUCCI***
-Outside-
It was around 6:30pm when (Y/n) and Shouto decided to leave the mall. The only things that were bought were two 'avatar: the last airbender' key chains, a bag of candy, and a roll of scotch tape (Y/n) owed her mom.
"Hey Shouto, would you like to get some food?" (Y/n) said, while stretching out her arms.
"Sure." The boy responded.
"Oh also (Y/n). I got this for you." Shouto said as he reached his hand into a small bag that he had been carrying. He pulled out a little (favourite animal) plush. It was about the size of ones face. "I wanted to get this for you. You've been so nice, and I thought this was cute. Kinda like your personality...?" Shouto said, sounding more like a question in the end. (Y/n) blushed as she smiled.
"That's so sweet!"
-Café-
The two were now at the newest café in town. It was the same one that (Y/n) had visited with Izuku a couple months back.
(Y/n) and Shouto entered. A girl with short purple hair came to take their order.
"Hello how can I help you." She said. Shouto looked at the menu in his hands.
"I'll have a strawberry latte with whipped cream." Shouto said. Then the waitress turned her head to (Y/n).
"O-oh! Hmm.. I'll have a [favourite coffee/café drink] please."
"Coming right up." The waitress walked to the counter, where her and a boy with white hair prepared their drinks.
"So... what's new with you lately?" (Y/n) tried to start a conversation.
"Well.. nothing much. Training takes up a lot of my time." Shouto responded.
"Ah that's fun." The conversation was over already. Just like that. All that could be heard now were the conversations from other groups of humans and the clinking of glass.
"Here are your drinks." A waiter with white hair dropped off the drinks of the two teens. Shouto took a sip of his drink, which caused (Y/n) to laugh.
"Huh?" He was confused.
"Y-you have whipped cream on your lip." (Y/n) continued to giggle. Shouto licked his lips.
"Gone?" The girl nodded.
"Yeah." After that, the two would exchange occasional glances at each other every now and then.
-Outside (once again)-
It was getting dark and the children both decided it was a good time to go home. The two arrived at (Y/n)'s doorstep.
"Thanks for today. I'm happy you agreed to coming with me." (Y/n) said.
"I should be saying thank you. I haven't really hung out around the city with anyone in awhile." Shouto admitted.
"Well I'm glad you liked it. And if the case is you don't hang out with people often, I guess that means we'll need to go places more! Night Todoroki."
Just as (Y/n) was about to enter her house, Shouto grabbed her wrist.
"Shouto." He said.
"Just call me Shouto." (Y/n) smiled.
"Then (Y/n) is just fine for me, Shouto."
