A week had passed since the entrance exams had taken place. Everybody who participated was well healed now and waiting for their results. (Y/n) was eating supper with her parents. Tonight they prepared (F/f), along with some (F/d).
"(Y/n)? Your results are coming in today or tomorrow, right?" (M/n) spoke.
"Y-yeah.. I'm really nervous."
"I don't see why, you did great!" Her father encouraged.
"Oh how do you know? I could have totally flopped!" (F/n) kept a nervous look on his face as he twirled his thumbs around each other.
"Well I don't know how, but I can tell you what I didn't do! I definitely didn't watch you from they sky!" He gave his daughter a closed eye smile, teeth showing as a very little amount of sweat gathered in his palms.
"Oh dad. You're so sweet! I'm happy you are looking out for me, but that was a little weird." The family laughed as they finished up their conversation and food. (Y/n) loaded up their dishwasher with their cutlery, plates and cups, while (M/n) and (F/n) cleaned up the kitchen space. Soon enough, the family was done their clean up.
"(Y/n), can you please go check the mail?"
"Sure thing, Dad!" (Y/n) was now making her way to the door. Her pacing a little faster every second. She knew what she wanted to see in the mail, and she couldn't wait. Once she had arrived at their door, (Y/n) opened up the mail box. Without looking, she pulled out three letters.
"Let's see here... One from that annoying cousin, one from mom's friend.." She quietly announced to herself, still not finding what she was looking for.
"H-hey what's this.." she how held onto a white letter. Holding it closed was a beautiful pressed red wax.
"I-it's here. M-MOM D-DAD ITS HEEEEERRRREEEE!" (Y/n) ran to the kitchen where her parents sat peacefully, although now scared due to their child's loud calls. Once (Y/n) arrived to the kitchen, her parents finally understood as she held the letter in her fingertips, showing it off.
"(Y-Y/N) OPEN IT!" Her dad exclaimed.
The girl then proceeded to open the letter. Her hands shakily ripping off the red wax. Inside the letter was a disc.
"Hu-"
"Hello! I am here as a projection!" (Y/n)'s eyes widened as she scarily, almost threw the mini projector on the dinner table.
"I-It's All Might!" The three shouted in unison.
"Hello young (L/n)! Thank you so much for coming to the entrance exam! During the practical exam, you got 34 points, which is good. But, that's not all. In this test, you are not only awarded points for immobilizing the robots. You also get points for saving people! And my dear (L/n), you got 53 of those. 10 for saving that little boy, and 43 for helping to save Ochaco Uraraka, the girl that had been crushed by rubble!" before All Might could continue, (Y/n) anxiously did the math in her head.
"W-wait but that means I got-"
"And all together, that means you got 87 points! And 87 points gives you first place out of all the competitors! Congratulations, (L/n). You will make a great hero here at UA!"
(Y/n) stared ahead as the projection disappeared. Her parents looked at her as she did nothing. The excited shaking in her body had stoped entirely as she held her breath. 'What's this feeling?' She asked herself. Her eyes teared up. 'Why?' She wailed as the tears fell from her eyes, gathering in the palms of her hands as they shook while she cupped her face. She knew she would do well, but she shock of it truly struck her.
The idea really slapped her in the face. She always knew what she was working towards, but actually finally getting to it? It was hard to think about. But it was true, and it was unbelievable.
Her parents hugged her, trying to sooth the crying, although they knew their daughter just had to get it all out.
"You really did it sweetheart. You're going to make it big in this world." Her dad said softly.
"Honey, we are so proud of you. We always knew you could make it."
The teenager just kept on crying, replaying the thought over and over in her head. 'I really did it.'
"I really did it." She spoke through sobs.
-Later-
(Y/n) lay asleep in her bed, eyes red from crying. She rested peacefully, knowing she got into her dream school, and in first place out of all the applicants! A smile stuck on her face as she thought of the school year to come. In her dream, she spoke.
"We did it Izuku... Izuku..? OH MY GOSH IZUKU!" (Y/n) jumped up in bed as she grabbed her phone from under her pillow. She contacted her best friend with the magical power of texting.
-Hello izuku did you get your results???
(Y/n) waited, staring at her screen as she felt her eyes watering up from the brightness of the screen. No response. 10 minutes, no response. 30 minutes, no response.
"He's probably asleep." (Y/n) sighed as she placed her phone under her pillow once again. She decided to start sketching out her hero costume. She was awake, and already had an idea of what to do. She got up and made her way to her desk.
She grabbed a pencil, her sketchbook, and opened her computer, trying to look for references. She drew away in the night as she stars gathered above in the skies.
"I'm too excited." She said to herself, smiling as she traced her pencil across her paper.
-Ok so, this chapter is a little short, so sorry. I already have a hero costume design ready, which you are free to change colours for in while you read, I just want to draw it over again, adding more extravagant things as it is pretty plain looking. So, next chapter will just be me explaining the hero costume. See ya!
