Chapter Sixteen - Not Even A Chance

I really didn't feel like talking to him right now. But a part of me forces me to open the phone so I find myself answering the call.

"What?" I snapped as I opened the call.

"Uhm. Where are you?" He said.

"Do you really think that I will share this information with you?" I said rolling my eyes but obviously he didn't see it.

"No but yes."He said

"Bye." I said but he was literally yelling through the speaker

"WAIT OKAY SO WHAT IF I INVITE YOU FOR A COFFEE???"He said half shouting.

"Obviously no." I said with a 'duh' voice.

"Say yes."

"No."

"Say yes."

"You're annoying me Channing."

"Say yes." He said again.

And I hung up to his face without an answer. That's rude but let's be real. He kicked me out then he invites me for a coffee.

I woke up to a really big thunder. It was 9am and there was a terrible whether outside. Not surprised, yesterday was rainy so not a big surprise at all.

I got up and I realized that I was at Chris's place. I scanned around to see Chris but he was no where to be seen. I walked through his bedroom and knocked. After a few seconds he responded 'comeeee innn'

I walked in and saw him all wrapped in his blanket and he looked really cozy and it was funny actually.

"What is your life about?" I asked him half laughing. He was just about to reply but he screamed right after the thunder happened.

"Are you-"

"No I'm not scared if thunders. Pffffh" he said

"But I didn't even asked the question yet?" I said smiling.

"You talk too much." he said wrapping himself in his blanket even more.

"Don't you get hot in there?"

"No. It's really comfy in here. Come on in. Try it." He said opening the blanket. Is this a cuddle request? No I'm not going to cuddle with him. I was just about to say no but he dragged me in to his blanket and wrapped the whole blanket around us. It was a pretty awkward situation for me. Not surprising that my cheeks got all red.

"This is not appropriate at all." I said

"But you're not trying to get out." He said wiggling his eyebrows.

"Stop ittt!!" I said laughing.

We were laughing, actually I was laughing at his stupid reactions then the doorbell rang.

"You're not going to open it?" I said looking at him.

"Well. No. I'm good here. You know in my blanket. Safe. "

"Okay I got your point." I said getting out of the blanket wrap and standing up, walking through the door.

I opened and saw Channing's wet face. Ugh. I really want to punch him so much right now.

"You must be kidding me." he said.

"What do you want?"

"Another chance?"

"Let me clear it up for you. We are never going to be friends again okay? Never. You left me alone in the most horrible days of my life. Then you say that I'm a fucking drama queen. You can never ever imagine how I felt when you yelled those words to me okay? Obviously you're not getting any other chances. " I said and smacked the door right in to his face without letting him respond.

My anger came back.

"I'm still waiting for you thunder buddy." Chris shouted from his room. I walked there. At least I have him.

~Channing's P.O.V~

I don't think I'll ever be capable of the emotions I felt when Vanessa said those words to me. We will never be friends again. It was like somebody just poured boiled water to my head. I was paralyzed for a moment. I can't let this happen. I won't let this happen. I am going to confuse her to talk to me again. I need to win her trust again. I'll give it a try. I don't have anything to lose after all.

I get in to my car and drive to my apartment. I am going to win her back again. No matter what.

SORRY FOR THE REALLY LATE UPDATE BUT HERE IT IS!

SO I HAVE GOOD AND BAD NEWS. YOU'LL DECIDE IF ITS GOOD OR NOT.

I ALREADY MADE UP THE ENDING IN MY HEAD SO I MAY END THE STORY IN A FEW CHAPTERS. BECAUSE LETS BE REAL FOR A SECOND. THIS STORY IS GOING NOWHERE IF I DONT END IT WHIT A PROPER ENDING.
