"Huff! Huff! Wait, where am I!? Huff! Huff!"
My head is pounding and my stomach hurts, a lot. I look down...
"No! No, no, no, no, no! I-I... Oh My God!"
I'm going to die. I can't die. I don't want to die.
A huge piece of the space shuttle is protruding from my stomach. I've been impaled.
Luckily, I was forced to do a few years of medical training, if my dad was to allow me to travel through space. After a few minutes of feeling around the injury, I figured out that it hadn't hit any vital organs.
I need to get help. I tried contacting the space station through my suit helmet... no answer.
Please, someone answer! Save me!
As I tried to contact my father, a piece of space debris the size of a dime hurtled towards me. There was nothing I could do. It was going too fast, heading straight for my face.
"No! I can't die, not now!"
I tried moving out of it's path, but I couldn't move. Whenever I moved even an inch, the small amount of movement sent pain coursing through my whole body.
I need to save myself!
I tried to move frantically away from the small piece of debris, my arms flailing at my sides. I was trying to work through the pain. But I wasn't moving, no matter how hard I tried.
It was slowing down, now only inches from my face.
This can't be the end! I can't die like this.
Tears welled up in my eyes, threatening to fall.
