The realization hit me: I'm actually going to die. I'm not going to be able to say goodbye. I won't be able to give my dad one last hug. I'll never have a future with a husband and kids. I'm actually going to die, this wasn't just a simple trip. They'll never find my body. I'm going to die.
I could barely hear the helmet cracking, as my sobs intensified. I looked up to see that the helmet was cracked all the way around.
"NO! IT'S ABOUT TO BURST! DADDY! I..."
Suddenly... the helmet burst! All the air escaped my lungs.
I whispered one last thing, into the vast expansion of space before my lungs gave out, " ...Love You..."
