Tzuyu's POV
I was beginning to get tired of Jackson's attitude. I had endured it through out class, but I'd had enough by the end of the day.
"Are you going to tell me what's wrong or you prefer to continue bitching around," I snapped at him.
All I'd done was politely ask for a ride home. And as a simple fact, I've never had to ask. I only had this time because he seemed so pissed off for no reason.
"Look, tzuyu, I said I don't wanna talk about it. Now get out of my car, I have somewhere I need to be."
"Do you have any idea how humiliated you're making me feel right now." I tried to fight back the tears. Was he breaking up with me?
"So you've decided that we're done?" I said, my voice thick with emotion.
"I don't know." He hadn't even had the balls to look me in the eye during our entire conversation.
"You don't know, huh?" I picked up my bag and looked at him. "Well, when you're decided Bae, let me know."
I stepped out of his way-too-small Porsche and slammed the door. He didn't even take a second before he sped off.
I just swallowed the terrible wave of emotion that gripped me. And held my head up high.
"Tzuyu!" I turned to the voice and saw Lisa, my best friend running towards me.
Just like me, Lisa was taller and much more curvy in her slender body. Perfect chocolate skin and pretty dark curly hair.
Not that I wasn't attractive. I just seemed to be the average teenager. Green eyes. Dark hair. Fair height.
But I guess I could give my body some credit. At least everything was in the right places, in the right amount.
"Where's Jackson?" Lisa asked when she'd reached me."Oh. Uhm, he had something really urgent to do. What's up?" I wasn't in the mood to talk about my relationship issues just yet.
"The squad is coming over to my place. Wanna come along? They're waiting for us."
"Maybe tomorrow. I don't feel so good right now."
She paused and stared hard at me. Then she turned around and walked away. That easy, huh? I thought as I wondered what I'd done so terribly that people were treating me like sh...
"You didn't think I'd let you off that easy now, did you?" she said as she caught up with me.
"Why aren't you going? I thought they were waiting for you."?
"They were, but I told them I'd find them there."
"You didn't have to do that."
"I did. And besides, we were first going to the mall anyways. So they'll probably find me home."
"How are you going to get home? Isn't your car still at the auto body shop?"
"It is. But I could ask my cousin to come pick me. And I don't think she'd mind dropping you off."
"I don't wanna bother her."
"She won't mind. Now tell me what that idiot boyfriend of yours did today."
"How did you..."
"Oh please. You have that look when he does something stupid. We can talk about it while we wait for my cousin."
She started to pull me away from the parking lot while she used her phone.
"Really, I'm good, Lisa," I said after she hang up on an intending call.
