Shane took me by the hand and led me into the camp. He introduced me to Dale, Rick, Lori, T-Dog, Daryl, Merle, Carol, Andrea, Amy, Carl, Sophia, Jackie, and Jim. They seem like nice people. Merle and Daryl are real assholes but it happens. "Everyone, this is Sara. She will be joining our group." Shane announced. I smiled awkwardly. Everyone was so welcoming to me.

Shane showed me around the camp. "You can either shower in the lake or the RV. And this is where laundry is done and food is prepared." "Very interesting." I said sarcastically. Shane laughed. "Over here are tents set up. Everyone shares a tent so nobody's alone. Right now they're paired as Daryl and Merle, Rick, Lori, and Carl, Andrea and Amy, Carol and Sophia, Dale, Jim, and me, and T-Dog and Jackie. We have an extra tent we found in a store I'll set up for you and I'll have Jackie bunk with you and I'll take her place in T-Dogs tent." I looked around nervously. "Would it be weird to ask if I could share a tent with you..?" He looked at me shocked. "Why me? Wouldn't you feel more comfortable with a woman?" I looked at Jackie. "Well I mean, you're the one who found me and I don't know I was kinda just wondering...if you don't want to then I'll bunk with Jackie." I didn't want to make eye contact with him since I felt awkward enough already. Shane laughed and patted me on the shoulder. "Alright, I'll bunk with you" he said with a smile. "Yay thank you!" I said hugging him tight. Shane hugged me back.

"So I have a question" I said to Shane as I helped him set up our tent. "I'm game. Shoot." he said. "Okay so you said you're 34. Four years ago you would've been 30 and I would've been 21. That's a big age difference. So how did you know Amber?" Shane laughed. "Her brother Tony and I graduated the same year. We were best friends." He stated. That's right. How could I forget about Tony. I had the biggest crush on him ever when I was younger. "Oh Tony. What ever happened to him anyway?" I questioned. "He went to college and I haven't talked to him since. It sucks though. I really miss the bond we used to have." I shot him a look. "The bro bond. Don't be thinkin other things now darlin'." Shane roared out a laugh.

"Tents all finished being set up. Now we just gotta put our sleeping bags and stuff inside." I looked at Shane. "Um. I don't have a sleeping bag..." "Now do you think I'd pick up an extra tent and not an extra sleeping bag? Come on girl." He said smiling as he walked over with two sleeping bags in his arms. His arms were very nice to look at and I'm pretty sure he caught me staring. All I'm saying is I wouldn't mind if they were pinning me on the floor. That's all I'm saying.
