Chapter 18

Lilly's POV

We are just arriving at the roller rink. I walk in talking to the girls and try to not look back and look at Taylor he's looking very hot today. I mean he does everyday and I think it just keeps getting better and better everyday.

We have a very weird relationship. One time I was staying over at his house because my parents were being jerks so I just snuck out and went over to his house. Anyways so he was sleeping and I couldn't sleep so I was just looking up to the ceiling when I hear him say "I love Lilly". It was weird but I enjoyed knowing he liked me more than a friend because I love him more than a friend. How we met is a totally different story. So I was in my 2nd grade glass room and Taylor and I were in the same class. I guess for some reason he felt the need to come over and pull my hair so I punched in the face when the teacher wasn't watching. So yeah that's how we met and we became friends after that.

"Lilly you okay", Carter asks.

"Oh yeah why", I said.

"Because it looked like you were sleeping with your eyes open", Keaton said smiling.

"Ha ha very funny", I said.

Carter's POV

I look around and I see all of these people falling. Maybe because they can't keep balanced on skates or something. Me on the other hand is standing or skating. I sing to every song I know. Then the song 'No Place That Far' plays. This is the song that my mom sang to me when I couldn't fall asleep at night. The last night with her this was the song I sang to her. I try not cry and break down in the middle on the roller rink. It's so hard knowing how much my mother loved me when I didn't show her as much love as I did to my grandma. I miss her. Then I get off the rink part and go straight into the bathroom and break down.

Matt's POV

"Hey do you guys know where Carter is", I said really getting worried because one second I see her on the rink roller skating her life out and then I look up and not see her anymore.

"Sorry Matt I haven't seen her in 30 minutes", Taylor said.

I walk over to someone who I knew might have an idea on where she is.

"Jacob do you know where my sister is", I said.

"No why is she okay", he asked getting worried.

"I hope", I say walking away from him.

I go over to the girls just watching people go in circles. They all look up at me and smile at Keaton.

"Do you guys know where Carter is", I ask for the 100th time.

"Yeah I think she's in the bathroom. Well at least that where I thought she went", Keaton said smiling up at me.

"Um could you guys do me a big favor and see what she is doing", I said.

"I'm guessing she's going to the bathroom. It's a bathroom for crying out loud", Chelsea said.

"Sure", Keaton said still smiling.

They all get up and go to the bathroom to see what I wrong with Carter.

Keaton's POV

He's so caring for Carter. They haven't known each other for very long and he has already been really protective over her and gets worried when he can't find her. He's so sweet. That's what makes me fall for him everyday.

We walk in to see Carter sitting on the floor. Just looking up. Her face was socked with tears. What the h*** happened to her?
