Keaton's POV

"You have to make a move on her Jacob, or she's gonna go for someone else" I said trying to get Jacob to make a move on Carter.

"I can't. This is probably the hardest thing in the world. She's gonna smile at me and I'll be gone and over whelmed by just a smile", he said.

Matt's POV

"Matt you can skate with Keaton if you want I don't care", Carter said.

"I want to skate with my favorite sister though", I said.

"Go skate with her", she said letting go of hand.

I look and see that she is in front of us. I skate closer to her. I guess I scared her or something because she lost her balance and fell into my arms.

"It's nice for you to be dropping in", I said making her laugh a little. Gosh that laugh.

"Thanks Matt", she said still smiling at me.

"Did you want to skate with me", I asked.

"Sure", she said.

Keaton's POV

It was more like "I've been waiting for you to freaking ask me, YÄSSSSS".

He grabs my hand and we skate off. I look at our hands. We're just holding it like friends. Why? I want to hold his hand like a boyfriend/girlfriend way.

Carter's POV

Jacob starts skating slower so he can skate next to me. I look down and smile at the thought of him holding my hand. I look up at him. He smiles at me.

"Hi", I said not taking my eyes off of him and his handsome face. Every girl wants the perfect smile smiling down on them.

"Hi Carter", he said still smiling.

"How are you", I asked.

"Amazing", he said laughing a little.

"Why", I said laughing a little with him.

"Just having an amazing day", he said smiling.

Jacob's POV

I'm such a lier but I feel like she knows that. I just want to call her mine. I want to hold her, love her, kiss her, hug her and never let her go, and keep her safe from anyone.

"Since this is a couple skate did you want to hold hands or just skate next to each other", I asked nervous.

"Um we can hold hands", she said not realizing she was blushing. I grabbed her hand. Her hands were cold but soft.

We don't say anything. We just keep skating. I smile down at our hands. I intertwined them. I look at Carter I can see a smile come across her beautiful face.

"OTP", I hear Chelsea scream and see that we are the only ones skating.

Carter looks up at me and blushing even more. Some people would say she's as red as a tomato but I think she is as red as a rose.

"Jacob I need to tell you something before we go over there", she said.

"Okay, but first I want you to know that you can tell me anything", I said.

"Jacob I like you", she said.

Carter's POV

I was looking for emotion in his eyes.

"I like you too", he said smiling at me.

"So now what", I asked.

"Umm become great friends and if we still like each other then we can see what happens", Jacob said trying to stay positive.

"I don't want anything else", I said smiling at him and giving him a side hug.

Keaton's POV

I look over at Jacob and Carter. All I can do is smile. I'm proud of Jacob. I then look at Matt. He doesn't look happy.

"Matt at least she's happy right", I asked him.

"Yeah but then if something bad happens she will break", he said.

"Matt stop thinking so negative", I said sitting down and taking his hand. I can feel him calm down. I smile when I know he is calm enough to go on with his life.
