In the school cafeteria, Some boys snickered as they leapt over to a lunch table, causing silencing suspicion in the cafeteria. "No homo man," The boys murmured, after slapping the gluteus maximus's of another boy clique.
They burst into laughter, pushing and shoving each other and cracking dirty jokes. The girls around them slowly edged away from their table, casting them concerned looks. Ethan Yuang was not one bit included in their clique. He silently nibbled onto an apple, exploring deep inside a novel he borrowed, completely oblivious to the stares he was getting.
"He's cute isn't he?" Several girls giggled, dreamily gazing toward Ethan with hearts filled with pure desire. Right next to them, a girl, too, was blinking toward him. "Bookish guys are so sexy." The girl, Dingdong muttered, her head supported by her hand. "I wish he would ask me out..." Dingdong let out a small, fake sob. Immediately, her closest friends- meaning the entire class- rushed to her side and began comforting her and assuring her that he will someday fall for her. Dingdong sniffed, wiping her eyes while all the other girls patted her back, hugged her, comforted her with kind words.
"It's alright, Ding. He'll ask you out one day. I'm sure he will. All the other pigs here are way out of his league." Said Pingpong, lifted a chopstick stabbed into a sashimi, and fed it to Dingdong. All the other girls that surrounded Dingdong agreed almost immediately.
"Hey, Dingdong." Dingdong looked up curiously at the mention of her popular name and self. "What is it?" "Bing lee and Yasuka Yuri and Mitsuka hina are going to Mister Kaminari's gift shop. We'll be back in five." Said Pingpong. Dingdong nodded silently. During the wait, she pulled nail-polish out of her designer make-up case. Pingpong and the other popular girls skipped off.
Dingdong slowly painted a nail, filling the edges delicately when- "OH SUCK SHI-" She shrieked, when a pair of rowdy boys tickling each-other fell onto the table in front of her and sent the nail polish bottle topple, spilling all over her expensive uniform.
With the reflex of a fly, the boys immediately ran out of the room, crashing the door open. Dingdong wailed, flailing her hands around. "Aaaah- my brand new uniform! I got the blazer extra tight and my skirt super high. Just wait till dad hears about this! How could you! waaa-" The girls around her gasped in extreme shock, and ran quickly to Dingdong's crucial aid.
The students smirked and laughed behind textbooks in class when they found out what happened to the school's most popular chick.

In the south hallway, the two boys skidded to a stop into another corner that faced a new corridor.
"Whew, right on the mark, my man!" The boy called Riku breathed, leaning down and catching his breath. They laughed recklessly and summarised what happened back there in the cafeteria to the school's most popular girl, Dingdong Ding. She'd probably be bawling her eyes out in the bathroom, hurriedly trying to wipe the stain off with toilet roll.
But as Riku straightened, although still slightly breathless, he saw that his fellow friend, Yuto's smile had faded. There was fear in his eyes, and it was easy to notice.
"What's wrong, dude?" Riku said, clapping Yuto on the back. Yuto blinked, then turned his head. "All's good but you do know how I ran my parents broke, man. How am I supposed to pay her laundry fine?" Yuto kicked leaves off the marble floor, and gazed through the window and toward the shining sky.
"Don't worry, we'll just nick some of that cash off that Worm." Said Riku.
"Ethan, that bookworm?"
"Yup."
They stared at each other for some moment before bursting into loud laughter. Just as they were snorting like some pigs choking on outdated macaroni, something hit the heads of Riku and Yuto. "Owie!" They both cried out, wheeling around with ange- their livid features relaxed most immediately after knowing the presence of their older brother, Mason Asahi.
He had his hands shoved inside his pockets- a thing all the boys did here- he was wearing a dark suit, his dark hair lightly swayed by the gentle breeze.
Riku and Yuto stared up at him, blinking as if blind. "If you're done staring at your older brother then may I know what you have done to that girl?" Mason said. It took the two boys some moments to process that information. but then, when finally, when nothing could come to mind, dazzled by the sight of their most handsome brother, Riku sheepishly looked up and stammered; "Ah- brother! Konnichi-"Shut up and-" "Dance?" Yutu suggested, interrupting his older brother and began singing "I'm bad! I'm bad." And started moonwalking-
...straight into the janitors open closet. Mason and Riku cringed as they heard clattering and a thud behind that open door indicating Yuto's doom. "Yes, you are quite bad at michael Jackso-" Mason sharply nudged Riku, silencing him at once.
"You two are nothing but the pain and depression of this world." Mason muttered, shaking his head and turning to leave.
All Mason then heard from those boys was the riiiip of fabric as Yuto tried to wiggle his way out of a mop basket.
