All right, stalking was a bit of an exaggeration.
Kit wouldn't call it that. Not at all. Actually, it was acute observation. As in, he saw a cute boy and accidentally started watching him. Every single morning on the beach. From afar. But no, it was not stalking despite what aforementioned cute boy's twin sister seems to believe. He was just . . . admiring the boy's taste in literature, that's all. Really, it was the boy's fault for bringing a book with him every morning.
Right after dawn, too. What kind of insane person wakes up before dawn?
Aside from Kit. So he could come acutely observe from afar. Which was, indeed, not stalking but that twin sister's very much unwanted opinion is appreciated.
So no, Kit wasn't stalking this poor unfortunate soul. He didn't notice that the boy always wore headphones, or that he tended to only read mystery novels (especially Sherlock Holmes), or he seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with the same old tattered black hoodie. That would be ridiculous.
Even Kit's sense wasn't that twisted.
