(Kanda's POV)
Normally, I wouldn't have been interested in anyone else's past, but hearing about what (F/n) had gone through made me feel... strange.
~Flashback~
The innkeeper looked at me. "(F/n) came to this town when she was just a little girl. She wandered into town one night, covered in blood and tears."
"I had found her that night after closing the adjacent tavern." His wife said. "I panicked when I saw her. With that much blood, I thought she was hurt. But when I asked her if she was alright, the poor thing whispered something about "it" killing them."
(A/N: no, not Pennywise. May that alien clown rot in Hell).
The innkeeper nodded. "The girl was unconscious for a day or two. We took care of her in the mean time. We would have gone to the police, but we figured the girl would be even more terrified."
"So, what happened when she woke up?" I asked, showing some rather uncharacteristic concern. "Did you find out what happened?"
"More than that." The inn-keeper's wife said. "The poor thing told us everything, and if she could have cried more, I think she would have. She just seemed in a daze."
"She said that a strange man had come to see her parents about some sort of object they owned. She said it was a necklace, I think?" The man looked at his wife.
"No, dear, it was an earring. Not a pair, just the one earring. I remember finding it strange that (F/n) was wearing one at that young age."
I was even more intrigued. "Wait, an earring?"
"Indeed. And she was quite adamant about keeping it." The innkeeper said. "We didn't have the heart to take it from her. It's the only thing that she has left of them."
"So, what happened after that?" I asked.
"Well, that's what we're unsure about. (F/n) told us that she couldn't remember much, but she remembered seeing her parents killed by some sort of monster." The inn-keeper's wife said. "After that, she said she just remembered walking for almost three days to get here to this town, but as to why, she couldn't recall."
~End of Flashback~
(3rd Person POV)
Kanda sat in his room, pondering the story. It was odd; (F/n)'s story made it almost seem like her parents were part of the Order in some way. But had that been the case, then she would have recognized the crest on Kanda's coat. 'It was probably so traumatic for her at that age that she's repressed those memories.' He thought to himself.
Kanda was now torn between a decision. He could either report to the Order about (F/n) considering the information he had gathered, or he could just leave it alone and let the poor girl live a normal life.
The exorcist sighed and rubbed his forehead. "Damn... I barely even know the girl... but I can't help but feel this overwhelming sense of guilt. If I tell Komui and the Order, they would demand that I bring her with me back to the Order." He muttered.
"Do you really think I could be an exorcist?" A female voice startled him.
Kanda's head snapped towards the door, which was open slightly, to see the (h/c), (e/c) girl that he had been thinking about.
"(F/n)..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A/NHello, my dearies! I feel on fire with new inspiration!
What's this about (F/n) probably being an exorcist? Could it be that she is an accomodator? An apostle to serve in this Holy War against Akuma?
Will Kanda try to talk her out of it?And wait. How did the innkeeper and his wife know that the "monster" that killed her family was an Akuma?!
What else do they know?More to come soon, my pretties!
Enjoy!
