Chapter 5

MinJi’s POV

I woke up to the sound of Yura’s obnoxious snoring. I stuffed a pillow in her mouth and went to the bathroom. I looked like a panda because I barely slept the last four days.Whenever I was about to fall asleep, stupid Joonmyeon oppa had to call Yura and talk to her all night long.

After cleaning myself up, I went downstairs. On the table were two stacks of pancakes mom made.It was already ten so I figured she had already left for work.

“What’s for breakfast?” Yura yawned as she sat down next to me.

“Pancakes.” I answered shortly before swallowing.

Without replying, she sat there and stared at her phone without blinking for a whole 10 minutes.

“Why are you doing that? Stop it. It’s creeping me out.”

“It’s just that Joonmyeon haven’t texted me back yet.”

“Have you think about the fact that he might be busy?”

“Busy? Doing what? What could be more important than texting with me?” Yura glared at the phone.

“I don’t know? Fansigning? Practice? Filming?”

“Oh yea, I forgot he’s an idol.” She patted me on the head.

“Oi! I told you to stop patting my head!”

“Sorry kiddo~ It’s a habit.”

Ding.

Yura grabbed her phone immediately as if her whole life depended on it.

“AHH~ THEY’RE HAVING A PARTY TO CELEBRATE THEIR DEBUT TODAY~”

“And you’re telling me this because?”

“Because WE’RE GOING!”

“What? No. No. No. NO!”

“Don’t you want to see that kid again? Wait what’s his name? Lee Soo Hyun? Park Si Hwan?”

“It’s Oh Se Hun you forgetful old hag. I wonder how you even got a job in the first place.”

“HEY! I’m not THAT forgetful!”

“Excuse me but do I need to remind you about the fifth grade incident?”

“What fifth grade incident?”

“The one where mom told you to pick me up at school and you left me there until 10 PM! See? You don’t even remember what you did!”

“Oh. BUT HEY! DON’T CHANGE THE SUBJECT! WE’RE GOING TO THAT PARTY.”

“You’re going. I’m not.”

“Why?”

Because Kyung Soo is going to be there.

“Because….”

“See? You don’t even have a reason not to go!”

“I’m not going.”

“If you don’t go I’ll tell mom about your math score!”

“How dare you blackmail your own sister?” I gaped at her and she glared back at me.

“Fine I’ll go. But only if you’ll buy me a new pair of shoes”

“You little…”
