Chapter 7

Third person’s POV

Yura paced back and forth nervously in her room. A few minutes before, she had just received an email from her boss in Vietnam saying that  there was an emergency and she must call the company immediately. Yura bit on her finger nails, waiting for Ms. Hong to pick up the phone.

“Hello? This is Ms.Hong speaking. How may I help you?”

“Hello Ms. Hong, it’s me, Park Yura. What was the emergency you mention about in the email?”

The woman on the other side of the phone sighed. “Our business partner in China, Suncore Corporation, had suddenly refused to continue on with our contract. We need you to come to China and talk to them.”

“Why can’t anyone else do it?”

“You’re one of the only few people that can speak Chinese fluently in the company, Ms. Park. I’m very sorry for disrupting your trip to Korea. To make it up to you, we’ll give you a week off in China so you could enjoy your staying.”

“That’s very nice of you Ms. Hong but what about my sister, Minji? Can she come along also?”

“Oh absolutely. I’ll have someone book your tickets right away. I’ll send you the details by the end of the day. Thank you and once again, I apologize for the inconveniency.”

“It’s okay. Thank you for informing me.” Yura gave a small chuckled before hanging up the phone.

“How I am going to tell Minnie?”

“Tell me what?” Min Ji, who had been eavesdropping on her sister the whole time, poked her head through the door.

“Gosh, that’s creepy Min Ji, don’t do that again.”

“Whatever, but what were you plannning to tell?”

“There’s  an emergency at my company. They want me to go to China to talk to our bussiness partner company.”

“But why can’t you go alone? Why do I have to go to?”

“Because after the trip to China, we have to go back to Vietnam. And it’s only for a week, so why not?”

“But I want to stay with Chanyeol oppa.” The sixteen years old girl whined.

“If you stay in Korea, how are you going to go back to Vietnam?”

“I could go alone…”

“You know mom wouldn’t allow that to happen.”

“Aish. I don’t know. But I want to stay here longer.”

“We can come back another time. You know how much this job means to me right?”

Min Ji stayed quiet and nodded, but still pouting at her sister.

“I ony have to talk to them for a day so we can have the rest of the week all for ourselves. Maybe we could even visit the EXO-M members.”

“Really? YES! But wait, when are we leaving?”

“I don’t know, they haven’t told me the details yet. But I think we’ll leave in a day or two.”

“That early? Can we go to Chanyeol’s oppa’s place to say good bye before we leave?”

“I think that would be a good idea. Let’s start packing now.”

Two days later

Incheon Airport

“Min Ji ah! Hurry up or else we’re going to be late for our flight!”

“Just a few more minutes unnie! “

Yura crossed her arms over her chest and glared at her watch. They were standing infront of the boarding gates waiting for Chanyeol to come to say farewell. Although they wanted to say goodbye to him earlier, EXO’s schedule were packed and they weren’t able to.

“AISH! What is taking that boy so long?”

“Be patience unnie! Look there he is!” Min Ji pointed at a tall figure that was sprinting towards them.

“MINNIE! NOONA!” Chanyeol panted heavily, trying to catch his breath as he finally reached them.

“ I’m going to miss you so much..” He pouted, squeezing them into a tight hug.

“We’re going to miss you too kiddo.” Yura patted his back.

“This is the final boarding call for the flight to Beijing, China. Please proceed to gate 3 immediately. The final checks are being completed. Once again, all passengers please proceed to gate 3 immediately. Thank you.”

“Crap. We have to go. We’re really late! We’ll come visit you again soon!”  The girls waved at Chanyeol, who was still pouting at them.

“Ah! WAIT! MIN JI AH!” He quickly grabbed her hand and handed her a small white box with pink polka dots on it.

“It’s from Sehun. “

“What is-“

“Minji! WE HAVE TO GO NOW!” And with that Minji was dragged away in to the boarding area.
