Chapter 9

The MC continued to interview each member more about themselves, while Minji kept on staring at the Ahjussi.

His name was Kris he says?  I thought the Dinosaur with super high cheek bones guy was Kris. What was the Dino name again? Chen was it? So for five years I'd been mistaking Chen as Kris? Kris looks like he walked out straight out of City Hunter, preparing to chop people with his jaw line. Chen looks more like a guy that would draw like a five years old and burn down the dorm though.

As the concert came to an end, the girls quickly checked their belongings before they went backstage again. The boys were talking to each other, still wearing the clothes from their last stage. They were all sweating as if they had just taken a bath.

"Hi guys! I'm Park Yura, Chanyeol's older sister and this is Min Ji, my little sister." She held her hand out at the boys.

"Nice to meet you, Yura-ssi. Chanyeol had talked a lot about you." Lay stepped up and shook her hand.

"Hey! I know you!" Kris glared at Min Ji, who stuck her tongue at him.

"She's the one who called me Ahjussi!"

"Ahahaha! You do look like you're 35!" Tao made high hyena shrieking noises, that could barely considered as a laugh, while pointing at Kris' face.

"Min Ji! Apologize to the guy!" Yura nudged her sister who was still having a staring (glaring) contest with Kris.

"It's not my fault he looks older than his age!"

"I don't care. Say sorry!"

"Fine! I'm sorry for calling you Ahjussi." I'm also sorry for not buying you anti-wrinkles face cream, grandpa.

Kris bulged his eyes out even more to glare at Min Ji as if he could read her thoughts.

"How long are you guys staying here?" Xiu Min asked breaking the tension between the two.

"We have a couple of days left in Beijing. When are you guys leaving for the next concert?" Yura asked.

"We’re leaving tomorrow afternoon."

"That’s too bad, I was hoping you guys could give us a tour.”

"Maybe next time.” Kris said.

They continued to talk until it was almost midnight, when EXO-M's manager approached to take Exo-M back to their hotel. He offered the girls a ride back to their hotel. Yura wanted to refuse but he kept on insisting since their hotels were close to each other, so they had to accept.

Even after the concert had ended, fans were still outside waiting with their posters and cameras at the back gate, knowing that’s where EXO-M was exiting. Before heading out, the manager handed Min Ji and Yura each a hat and a makeup toolkit as a disguise so the fans wouldn’t bother them. Luckily, it worked because all Min Ji heard was how jealous the girls were of not being to get ‘their job’ so they could touch their precious oppa’s face.

“Thank god we pulled that off.” Chen sighed in relieved, “If we were caught, I wouldn’t know how to explain to them with my broken Chinese.”

“Yeah, luckily we gave that thing a hat, or else her bad acting could’ve got us busted.” Kris smirked at Min Ji.

Thing? What is wrong with this ahjusshi? I had only added 10 years to his age by mistake and now he won’t stop getting on my nerves! We met for two minutes for toilet directions! Get over it dude!

Yura knew from the way Min Ji was twitching her right eye that she was probably going to start writing a book when she got home. And it would be called, How to kill an annoying 23 years old guy, who looked like he was 35, named Kris. Yura silently poked her sister’s stomach for her to stop her flaming glare at him. Unfortunately, that was not what you’re supposed to do when your sister was trying to plan someone’s funeral. It only made Min Ji turned her head to Yura and glared at her instead.

The rest of the car ride was in absolute silent with the exception of Tao occasionally giggling like a teenager girl at Weibo posts on his phone and the Manager’s coughing. When they reached the Beijing Palace (Yes, that’s the actual name of the hotel.), the girls said their goodbye and head up to their room.

“That wasn’t so bad, was it?” Yura said, knowing her sister, she was probably about to throw a tantrum in three, two and show time!

“AHHH!! HOW DID YOU STAND THAT OBNOXIOUS WALKING POLE! THE OBNOXIOUS POLE I CAN STAND IS PARK CHANDORK! I SWEAR HE WAS GOING TO MAKE SNIDES REMARKS AT ME ALL NIGHT IF WE HADN’T JUST MET!”

The raging continued on and on. Even when Min Ji was in the shower, she wouldn’t stop complaining, she would just yell even louder to get through the wall so Yura could hear her. Note to self: Next time, book a room with a soundproofed toilet that also comes with noise blocking headphones.

Luckily, Min Ji was also human so she knew what being tired was and decided to go to sleep at 5 in the morning.
