Chapter 10

pminji95 is calling 11272pcy

“Minnie? Why are you up so early?” Chanyeol grumbled with his ‘morning’ voice.

“It’s 2PM grandpa!” Yura yelled from her bed on the opposite side of the room.

“Really? Urgh, I went to bed at 3am. Let me go back to sleep woman!”

“Are you serious? I couldn’t go to sleep until 5am!” Yura slammed the book she was reading on her bed.

“What were you doing up so late?”

“Min Ji was ranting on and on about Kris.”

“IT WAS HIS FAULT FOR BEING ANNOYING” Yelled Minji who had stayed quiet for the longest time in her life. Her mouth was still tired from all the complaining she did last night.

“And what did he do?”

“Damn it Yeol! Why did you have to ask her? Now I have to listen to last night ‘speech’ all over again”

Chanyeol shrugged as he went to grab his toothbrush from the bathroom and brush his teeth while Min Ji started her ‘speech’.

“He kept saying mean things to me! AND I DIDN’T EVEN DO ANYTHING TO HIM!”

“To be fair, you did call him an Ahjussi first.”

Chanyeol choked on his toothpaste, and laughed until tears were forming in his eyes.

“It’s not my fault he didn’t used anti-wrinkles cream!”

“YOU CALLED KRIS AHJUSSI?! HAHAHA!” He kept laughing whipping tears from his eyes.

“Urgh. Once again! His fault! Not mine!”

“By the way Min Ji, did you open Sehun’s present yet? He had been bugging me a lot about it.”

“Not yet, I left it somewhere in my suitcase before, let me go find it.”

Minji left her from her bed and went to the closet and pulled out her purple suitcase. Digging through the pile of her dirty clothes and shopping bags from the past four days, she finally saw the small box that Chanyeol had handed her. She quickly unties the pink ribbon and opens the lid. It was filled with little white crystals. Underneath the crystals was two M charms, one silver, and the other gold, there was also a thin blue string bracelet. At the very bottom of the box was a memo note.

Hey Minnie~ Do you like your goodbye present? I remembered that you were wearing a charm bracelet on the first day we met.  So I decided to get you an M to add to your bracelet. You know? M for Minji? :) I couldn’t remember if your bracelet was silver or gold so I bought both! I’m such a genius right? Also that string bracelet is called a wishing bracelet. I heard that if you make a wish before putting it on and it falls off by itself then your wish will come true! Remember to not take it off and let it falls off normally okay? Haha, I hope you like it, (or else I’m going to sit in my room and sulk like a little emo kid) :)

“Aww that’s cute. Little Sehun have a crush on our Minnie.” Yura giggled after peaking at the note from behind Minji’s shoulders.

“WHAT? I’M NOT LETTING THAT WEIRDO NEAR MY SISTER! Nope! I’m gonna murder that kid.” Chanyeol stood up and glared at the bracelet Minji was holding in her hand. Min Ji smiled at the present but quickly snapped out of it once she felt Chanyeol’s eyes on her.

“Relax oppa.  He’s just a friend, plus I don’t think he like me like that.”  Yura rolled her eyes, unconvinced but luckily it was good enough for her brother stopped glaring at her.

Chanyeol was very gullible. It was something Minji both like and hate about him. She liked it because of situation like this. She hated it because when her brother was in middle school, her brother was always bullied by his so called friends. They were always lying to him and making him look like a fool. Even when he found out that they were taking advantage of him, Chanyeol was too nice to say anything and kept on smiling like an idiot.

“Hyung! Thank god you’re awake! We have to change now! There’s a sudden change to the schedule and we have to get to Music Bank NOW.” Kai burst through the doors all of a sudden, disrupting their conversation.

“Crap. I have to go now. Talk to you later!” With that, he ended the video call.

“I know you’re bad, but I didn’t know you were THAT bad at lying.”

“Yea, yea, say whatever you want grandma."
